We're excited to be a part of Battle Royal 2016, and we have a lot of awesome things we're working on to make this event unforgettable. And, oh yeah -- $1000 POT BONUS!

A CHARITY TOURNAMENT
This year we've shifted from being simply being a tournament to our first stages as a true gaming festival. Our goal is to provide an experience in which fighting game fans can join and celebrate not only each other & the games they play, but also work toward a good cause as well. With that in mind we're proud to announce that this year's Cali Crush Gaming Festival will also be a charity fundraiser for Child's Play - a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children in hospitals and domestic violence shelters through the generosity and kindness of the video game industry and the power of play. We're thrilled to have them on board!

A portion of all entrance fees will go toward the charity and we will be collecting donations from this day all the way through the event in order to give as much as possible to Child's Play. Head to the website to donate. Child's Play donations go completely and directly to Child's Play.

IN ADDITION. THIS YEAR WE'RE INCORPORATING A FIGHT CARD.
Some of the West Coast's best will be battling head to head in a series of exhibitions to provide entertainment and help raise money for our charity, Child's Play!

Tournament rules as follows:

PS4 Consoles
Wired Controllers Only

• 3/5 rounds for all rounds
• Double Elminination
• Normal Life Setting
• 60 Second Time Limit
• Danger Zones are on
• Random stage select, Dojo banned
• Winner Lock - Winner must stay same character, Loser may pick
  - Random character can be chosen, but if the player wins they must choose the same character for the second match.
• Blind pick is allowed

Hi. So I'm totally new to this, but am very interested. I've never done a tournament and am not sure how they work. I want to attend. How much will it cost? Should I just show up at 9am?

Ok, I found the website. I registered. So, do I bring my own controller? Sony doesn't make wired Ps4 controllers as far as I know. So I'm confused.

Bring your own controller and bring a wire to connect if possible. We'll have a couple just in case, but everyone is expected to bring a wire for themselves.

I'm not as high level as you guys but I can still put up a fight. Mostly coming to support and show love for my favorite game. I normally can't afford hotel stays for tournaments, but this one's down the street XD

I just wanted to say a HUGE thanks to everyone that came to the event. We had a great time, the weather was beautiful, and the competition was some of the best I've ever seen. We were able to raise $425 for Child's Play, and while that's not a ton, it's better than nothing.

And a huge thanks to all the viewers and of course to Team Ninja, who provided the DLC giveaway stuff and the $1000 pot bonus.
