Tifa from FF7!
latest

I think since FF7 remake is on the works having Tifa for a guest Character would be perfect since she herself is a martial artist (monk class). Since Tekken 7 has Noctis, DOA could have Tifa to represent Final Fantasy!

Of coarse they can add her Advent Children outfit for those who dislike her original design or like it more.

So what guest character you guys would like to appear?

Don't think you're going to find anyone on here disagreeing with the notion of Tifa being in DOA lmao. She should have been in 5. I love Mai Shiranui but Tifa is a whole different level of badass.

As much as I dislike the idea, Tifa is perfect to be the guest character as she easily fit right in. Though I have a funny feeling Team Ninja will troll us with another Final Fantasy character in mind.

Final Fantasy is a number too big for a game series like DOA. Final Fantasy rather collaborated with Bandai Namco and Tekken than with Team Ninja and DOA, even though they literally made a Final Fantasy fighting game (Dissidia) for them. That should tell you everything...

I'm pretty sure Square would be open to DOA because like you said, they help with the Dissidia game. I'm positive they would show some support by having her in the next installment for the support Tecmo Koei gave them. I mean as we speak there's a Monster Hunter X Final Fantasy with both of them trading monsters.

Yeah well they got Noctis and he's practically worthless compared to what Tifa's draw would be. I don't see anyone requesting FF for Tekken, and it was not a constructive collaboration. Not to mention they have a history where Square wanted to purchase them.

Not to mention clunky Tekken characters would never fit in with DOA, and a lot of people that play DOA and vice versa think eachother's games are absolute crap. I would rather get a vasectomy than play Tekken or see the that game's characters in DOA.

Bahn (Fighting Vipers)
Bahn-projectxzone.png

- Bahn comes from a fighting game that is in deep slumber for thousands of years, by Sega. He also has a huge number of similarities in movekits to that of Akira Yuki from VF, as well as personality to that of Jotaro from JoJo. Bahn's personality has shined more in the recent Project X Zone games due to future hardware and story that never really happened from the games he's from originally. He can fit the bill pretty well since 3D fighters and all.

Kazuma Kiryu & Goro Majima (Yakuza)

- Kazuma Kiryu has been one of the characters for high request in fighting games for a long time and I say he's perfect, but why stop there? throw in Majima-san and you can have dream possibilities that has never happened before in fighters.

Characters (Tekken)

- (1-2 characters). Yes I went there. This is a strong starting point to trigger both sides of the community to work together as a 3D fighter support rather than creating this barrier on which game is better. I remember Tom Lee from TN on an article on wanting Jin in DOA, but I'd probably pick Heihachi, Kazuya, Xiaoyu, or Nina. Either one of those. Shimbori even wanted a 3D fighter union with Harada-san so hopefully this is a thing in the future for characters.

Note: Also Harada played DOA5 last year and he said he liked the game. Think this game beef is practically non-existent except for the only taste that you don't like either games because it's not your forte.

With Itagaki gone, there's no real feud between DOA or Tekken anymore. I would be ok with a collab of some sort between the 2 franchises. Though, I'm sure some of the more stubborn fanboys/fangirls would get triggered by the thought of two "rival" franchises collaborating. However, I would like DOA6 to establish its identity before any collabs commence.

Truthfully, that's still in zero resulting factors of identity loss. VF characters were introduced on the vanilla build of DOA and identity of DOA was inflicted by 0%.

People may be jumping the gun when it comes to some sort of identity crisis which the only situation I can see from that is the stigma behind DOA. It has become a meme stick when it's referred to as a "tiddy fighter" rather than anything else. DOA's identity will still be there as a fighter, it's the other issue that is more of a concern. We most likely won't see guests until DLC either way, but i'm pretty sure identity is extremely minimum when it comes to this type of collaboration.

Costumes might be an entirely different story (unless it's Naotora gauge moments, but Yakuza, Fighting Vipers, and Tekken characters have much more value to this type of situation that isn't shoved down to TN's throats).

Oh, I'm not talking about its historical identity of DOA per se, I'm referring to the identity that TN would want to put forth with regards to DOA6. Basically being the: hard-hitting, cool-looking, intense 3D fighter. I have no problem with appropriate guests, but always want to ensure that DOA6's identity gets put forth first. And yeah, the guests will likely be DLC haha. TN handles DLC better than Namco anyway.

None. Leave that shit in Soulcalibur. Fighting games need to seriously drop this guest shit and get back to the basics. VF characters were almost as bad as the DW chick and Honoka in 5.
