This is the basic movement that is done in Dead or Alive. The environment is highly important to involve with your game-play in combination with the movement (Free Stepping).

EXTRA DAMAGE GAINED FORM THE ENVIRONMENT!

Non-explosive walls add 10 extra points of damage to the attacks and throws that wall splat your opponent.

Explosive walls add 15 points of damage to attacks and throws that wall splat your opponent.

When your opponent does not fully hit the wall and splat, but bounce off the it. The damage for both non-explosive and explosive walls is reduced to 5 (for non-explosive) and 10 (for explosive) points of damage.

Explosive floors add 5 points of damage to attacks that slam your opponent to the ground. An explosive floor adds 10 points of damage to particular throws that slam your opponent to the ground. Not all throws will get the bonus of 10 points of damage. The damage varies for different throws that ground slam your opponent.

Break-away floors will 10 points of damage to the attacks and throws that send your opponent through them.
