You're right. Problem is that not every character can maintain offensive pressure which means they can't shutdown the opponents one completely.

yeah it's a kind of shitty match-up, i think the key with helena is sometimes you just have to commit to a hold. if you really know a mid punch (or any given zone) is coming, hold. IMO, with any character with a high strike rating, it isn't smart to just block. you have to actively stop their offense through either crushes sidesteps or holds, then maintain offensive pressure so they don't have a chance to stun.
