    They nerfed the hit boxes on alot of his moves like 9p which had a bigger hit box in 5 and was better for whiff punishment and poking. His windash kick is freaking useless now unless I'm at a wall. In DOA5 I could use it to launch in stun or a combo extender but now they just flip over into a wake up kick situation.

    Read all of that together lol. Btw just a disclaimer, he isn't a bad character just VERY underwhelming.

    I guess it fits his personality now, lmao. I do feel for you, he definitely isn’t as good as in 5, but you will find your way with him. You’re one of the strongest Hayate players in the community, so I’ve got faith in you.
