    I need someone to explain how after patching DOA like 8 times, pseudo death combos still exist in tag. This shows TN doesn't even like tag.

    Nobody likes tag, dude. Solo is where your fundamentals and knowledge of the game shine, tag is where you get hit with a low that you tried blocking, then hit by a mid punch you tried holding, then a SDS into the other characters tag burst, which is in many cases unstaggerescapable. Then, you get launched and 75% of your life is gone.

    I think they just leave it be as a 'silly mode' not meant to be taken seriously. They have patched out SOME infinites like Leifang/Pai's 9KKK (tag) KK

    They leave it in because they know an unhealthy amount of their fanbase loves it for some reason and because to remove it now, after it's already been made, would make them look bad.

    Maybe it's just me, but why is it DOA's matchmaking magically cant find ppl in ranked until u hit a win streak it wants u to lose?

    Welp, just got hit with the momiji/rachel pseudo infinite. Then taunted like that takes some sort of skill. Oh well, that's tag for ya.

    I wish there was more like you. Im so sick of seeing marie in general, but especially when it's honoka as a main on their player card. And in tag, i know if i see a honoka title, marie's the partner.

    Tekken tag 2 online is insane. So many good players that slaughter me that it's frustrating sometimes. Makes me practice harder though.

    "Tekken Tag 2 is an honest fighter." ppl say as they do 80 percent damage rage combos and tag out nonstop to avoid punishment in online.

    you have a point. Tag 2 is kicking my ass hard now, i just wish ppl would stop acting like it doesnt have any cheapness to it. I admit its the game where i lose to the most skilled players, but ive seen and lost to just as many Tommy Two Moves who abuse a bad connection. Idk though maybe it's just frustration though.

    To be fair, I'm considered a Tommy Two Moves by some people here. So it's gotta be frustration. It's no big deal though, at least DOA5 has some reasoning behind it in tag... you're getting rid of TWO lifebars, after all. If that one lifebar rule in TTT carried over to DOA5, I wouldn't blame most people for saying tag is broken.

    I love rachel but it's hard not to get linear with her, and that's just hold hell waiting to happen. Anyone got advice on mixing it up?

    Throw punishing is it really. She can get guaranteed damage from the bounce. Also pressuring is really good with her.

    Incorporate 9P/H+K into your neutral game and play strictly stun-launch with 7P and 4H+K for a while to make your opponent respect your mixups.

    I hate gen fu so much man. How the hell do you fight him? He outprioritizes everything and somehow is nearly unholdable online.

    I hate how easy it is to do good with christie helena and alpha online. It makes all the ppl that actually put time into them look bad.

    exactly and there are some legit good ones out. Im just sick of not only catching hate when i use alpha or christie, but also having to fight some characters like a psychic just to win even at basic lvl. At this point, i fear a basic gen fu christie or helena more than a high lvl phase, nyo, or haybusa.

    Nyotengu, Marie Rose, Rig and Zack are annoying as shit online. Do I hate them offline? Not at all. Christie also isn't braindead offline. She takes a helluva lot longer to train than Momiji, Alpha or Hitomi for example. Helena is fair offline too.

    Auto combos, rage arts and nerfed combos? Tekken 7 just needs to add a "I cant win myself button." That allows 1 hit kos or has the Ai help.

    Tekken has been going downhill in the last few years. In my opinion, Tekken 5 was the last great tekken game. After that, we start with ridiculous brain-dead juggling in T6 and TTT2, and now easy mode junk and other mechanics to make it like SFIV.

    I long for the glory days of Tekken 3 in the late 90s.
