Welp, getting myself a PC emulation :D My favorite was Kadonashi and the guest characters, Law and Paul. It was a very fitting game for those two because they always cause trouble.

Just download a ps2 emulgator and search the iso file for Urban Reign and you got it, and ooh yes I almost forgot that the game had tekken guest characters! Hopefully Namco makes a sequel to the game in the future (probaly not but we can always hope~)

Props to Koenji with those mods that made Tekken 7 more beautiful than it actually looks. But of course, that's just on PC...and only a mod.

Ever since I saw his latest mod, I started to get those Tekken 5 emotions and nostalgia. It made me happy, but the same time, so damn heartbroken.

Street Fighter FGC is probably the most patient among them. They can wait for 8 years for another game to come out without being demanding.

Apparently, they started to become demanding since Capcom messed up with the lack of content of SFV. Before that game showed up, they still played SFIV like it's still new.

LoL... I mean using a regular arcade stick with my left hand on the buttons and my Right hand on the Stick.

I have a friend who plays like that.

Although... wouldn't it be easier to just mount the Stick Part Upside Downside ?

DOA3.1 is the JP release. DOA3.2 is the PAL release. I.e Japanese boxart for JP (<3 Ayane), and European boxart for PAL (though it looks similar to the NA boxart).

The difference of the mechanics of other fighters somewhat makes it hard, and also having to learn the matchups of every character. It took me a year or more to learn everybody- their moves, key moves, and frame data in just one fighting game.

I don't play a lot of them. Tekken, Soul Calibur, and DOA is pretty much all I play with dedication. I used to play SF, MK, MvC in the past, but it didn't last long.

Well yeah... there are Character Archetypes that appear in many Fighting Games... so that helps simplify the Learning of Matchups a teeny tiny bit.

But yeah its Super Difficult learning so many Games.

Thats why they called Sonic Fox a Prodigy.

It's because the fighting game fundamentals learned in one fighting game can transfer over with basically any fighting game like Argentus said. Not to mention the people that learn multiple fighting games competently tend to have a more focused personality, tenacity and a knack for fighting games in general. I.e. More casual minded people tend to progress slower than more competitive-minded players.

Yuyu won. Was pretty much expected though. Yuyu has always been the better player, but that was a very close match. It was 9-10. Before, Tanukana couldn't even win one game against Yuyu, but Tanukana has improved a lot now.

I usually play like 2 games at a time. One being my main game, and the other I just play as a way of taking a break from my main game.

It slows down my learning growth in a single game when I play a lot of games. Trying to play Street Fighter, Injustice 2, KOF, and DOA at the same time will only make me less focused on learning a single game, and it makes it less interesting as well.

I would prefer that throws cannot be guard impacted because they're on the same category as unblockable moves, and unblockables can't be GI.
      1. Shirataki Tsume
        Shirataki Tsume
And throws are like the weakest moves in the game. If you get caught by it, it can be escaped, they have the shortest range of all moves and they're mostly highs, and they are on counter hit when interrupted.

Same ideas go to DOA's throws. Throws in DOA can't be countered by holds, only by strikes. And Tekken's throws can't be parried or reversed. I wish Soul Calibur will carry this kind of throw system as well.

His right sidestep animation looks faster than his left. His left sidestep speed looks normal.

I'm not sure about that though because Yun-Seong's BB tracks to his left but Xianghua's 66BB tracks to her right. I guess it depends on the move or the character. Raphael's tracking is really bad though. Even some of his horizontal moves can be sidestepped by Astaroth or Voldo who has one of the slowest movement.

I'm a new player in Dead or Alive who came from Tekken. After being a dedicated Tekken player for 10 years, I moved to Dead or Alive since Tekken 7 came out because I don't find Tekken 7 appealing and interesting. I started playing Dead or Alive with Dead or Alive 4 sometime in late 2017 and I started playing Dead or Alive 5 a few months after.

Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Dead or Alive are the only fighting games I ever play the most, but Dead or Alive is my newest one. I don't play a lot of fighting games because it's too much to learn. Actually, one fighting game is overwhelming enough for me to learn. It's like trying to read an entire science book.

Well, I played Bloody Roar, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and some other fighting games in the past when I was a kid, but I didn't stay with them for long. I've played Tekken and Soul Calibur since a decade ago, and Tekken being my main fighting game and Soul Calibur as my second one. I play my fighting games very seriously like I always go to the point of mastering the game's depth with fundamentals and execution skills. I wanted to get along with Virtua Fighter, but my fingers hurt every time I play that game.

I knew about Dead or Alive since the 2012 days, and I always wanted to play it because the game looks attractive and flashy, but I could never put myself into playing it because of the excessive fanservice. And Jann Lee, who is the Bruce Lee character in that game looked kinda lame to my taste. Before, I only play fighting games for the Bruce Lee characters, which is why I was critical to Jann Lee until I started to become more open with other characters as time kept going. Jacky Bryant saved me from that frustration even though he's only a guest character.

My mains: Phase 4, Momiji, Hayate, Mila, Jacky Bryant, and Akira (I usually enjoy playing difficult characters because of the challenge, but I also like to play characters with average difficulty for stress relief.)

My mains in other fighting games:

TEKKEN - Law, Jin, King, Lee
Soul Calibur - Yun-Seong, Maxi, Kilik, Xianghua, Seong Mi-Na, Raphael, Amy

When it comes to the fighting games I play, I don't just play my main characters, I play like almost everyone of them. It's boring to just play my main characters and not try out everybody else.

My main characters are usually the Bruce Lee characters in their respective games such as Law, Maxi, and Jacky Bryant. But I don't main Jann Lee because he's the Bruce Lee based fighting game character I like the least.
