Yeah I'm not big on being the shield dispenser. At first glance I thought shed be The Heavy but instead she's The Medic.

That was one of the good changes that came with the patch. Other points were not as welcome, IMO.

The other is that Overtime timer increases it's countdown speed and players increase their death time the longer overtime is going on.

Yes, he plays every character like Tracer and complains when they can't be run and gun characters (i.e., not Tracer).

Yeah, so I already know his Zarya style without ever seeing it: Run into the entire enemy without a team, holding down RT to shoot the laser, then complain because she instantly dies while doing no damage or killing anyone because no shields were popped on self or teammates to increase damage. Basically no strategy.

I don't know what happened. I tried isolating my preferred characters for each class now that Ana's out on all versions...

Offense: Tracer or Dad:76.
Defense: Junkrat or Bastion
Builder: Torbjorn
Sniper: Ana
Tank: Reinhardt or D.Va
Support: Ana or Mercy

I now actually have a "sniper" I can use somewhat effectively. What's weird is that I still can't hit shit at a distance with Widow/Hanzo, but with Ana, no problem.

BTW, I forgot if they reduced the cooldown on D.Va's boosters. She feels a lot faster now.

The thing alot of people don't realize is she has no range on the beam itself. And she can lose alot of engagements if the cannon isn't charged a little, even 10% is ok. Unless you're D.va, just walk foward and shoot the little Korean girl they usually panic and fly away.

As I said, I just don't like her play style, that's really all there is to it.

Quit talking out your ass Wah, you know better than that.

I've literally got the OPPOSITE complaint about overwatch (how it feels like a bland run and gun no matter who you are due to how low everyone's health is).

I'm normally a hang back and lay suppressive fire kinda player. I'm artillery in mech games, I'm heavy gunner in shooters, etc. I use the biggest slowest and most damaging weapons I can find.

Tracers teleports just happen to be fun as hell and I hate the generic ass designs of half the rest of the cast.

I just don't like actually playing as zarya despite loving her character design. Same problem I have with KoF's Angel.

As someone who mostly plays Mercy, I can confidently say that people who play the game like that are the worst. Unless you're playing a character specifically designed to have good solo survivability, that's a good way to both ensure your team's defeat and irritate your healers (especially if you're hitting the "I need heals" button while you're off in the middle of the enemy team). And the people who are the most likely to be able to keep you alive are the last ones you want to piss off.

Does anyone else feel like Widowmaker's body shot damage could be upped a bit on consoles? It seems like her balancing was done for PC and then basically copy-pasted to the console version, where different considerations are in play.

Personally I liked her one shotting tracers and genjis. Now they run a muck and are very hard to put down.

There are usb devices that let you trick the console into letting you use a mouse and keyboard. But they require a lot of set up, mostly in latency.
