When was it a problem to tag juggle?

Look I understand some are really cheap like repeatedly using kasumi/phase/ 3 high kick combo, or marie rose's 4PP. But some of us like myself really do different attacks to juggle. I just find it ridiculous that ppl are warned to be kicked from lobbies if you tag juggle, or receive a ton of hate mail for it. ummm don't play tag then?

In my opinion; if you play Tag, you're asking for it. I use both actual non-spammy, non-loopy combos when I feel the need to be flashy, or play "seriously". Other times, I just do the Hayabusa/Rachel 300+ DMG loop to troll, because I do not take Tag seriously at all. I don't understand why anyone takes Tag seriously to begin with, anyway.

As for the people sending you hate for it, ignore them, and if you feel the need to, block them. Or you could send them a message telling them to play Solo if they do not like endless juggling.

Because tag juggles are op and brain dead easy. No skill, fun or satisfaction. Just keep tagging out and watch the other person slowly float in the air like a piñata until the win screen comes out.
YES THANK YOU. It takes the fun out of it. You cant do anything and most of the time they start another one right as you get up. People can say "dont get caught in a combo" but honestly. with grabs that can start an air combo, its impossble.

That's like telling tekken tag players not to tag juggle. if you don't llike it don't play it. you cant force people who enjoy tag mode to play by your rules. my tag combos are well practiced and thought out. you can go play solo. bye felicia

Nobody cares how much you practiced your combos, though.

People want to play the game and experience fights not just watch you do combos on a ragdoll. That's yet another reason why tag is the joke mode.

If that's all you want you can just stay in training mode with the dummy

Just wanna throw this out there because it's happened to me more than several times.

Let's say you joined a tag match, you were outplaying everyone in the lobby, and the host wants you to go to lobby. Afterward, you comply with playing singles.

But even when you outplay your opponents in singles, some people complain about combos and juggles in singles too, then I get kicked out. Was there something I did wrong in this scenario?

Dude your Christie just carries people across the screen until you win, that's not really fun for the other person to just get juggled to death without really getting to play XD. Most people can't even compete with your Christie.

This is an exaggeration.

There is no way I can carry people across the screen in singles with Christie until I win, especially with heavyweights such as Leon. In actuality, I'm making reads on opponents under pressure to score either a knockdown or a wall reset to gain offensive advantage at best, 'cause that's where Christie excels in. Scoring a combo juggle on an opponent isn't a top priority for me in this situation unless I really want to use a PL, take advantage of the environment, or manage to successfully read a low punch.

I mean, if you're fighting people beneath your skill level, there's not a lot you can do except find people who are more at your skill level.

DOA does not strictly focus on tag though. You can tell people to play tag or not, however it's not the general mode that DOA is based off. Tekken Tag games have tag format because that particular game is based of such a tag system, hence the name Tekken Tag tournament.

In short, tag is for the lulz and not to be taken serious on a competitive level in regards to DOA.

Some tag combo's requires skill just like some combo's in solo, and if you don't get a certain satisfaction from some players don't fight them, I juggle in tag because tag mode is made for tag combo's that's why there are tag combo's in the character's combo challenges.

Shocking news, you can escape throws by not blocking or holding, and by throw escaping :O I highly doubt that you ever did the tutorial.

Kicking players because you don't like how they play ? How sad. Instead of kicking them out learn how to adapt to them, you can juggle them back lol, it's not that hard.

If you want to gain experience play solo because most skilled players play solo lol.

Awesmic has a good Christie but he's not unbeatable lol, most people lose to awesmic and skilled players because they just mash and expect to win and if they lose they start getting salty, cry, ragequit or send hate mail. People really should use training mode if they suck.

Where were some people in DOA5 vanilla? did you guys know that DOA5 vanilla never had a tag online feature? it's as if people are seeking for glory within other methods that were never intended to begin with. When people started playing online was the first option you picked to play online is tag? where would some people go if tag was suddenly removed? serious question here. DOA5U was the first game from Team NINJA to enable the option of tag to be online, however that only happened because people were constantly demanding tag just for the sake of tag intros and performing tag moves in bikinis.

I understand that people want new ways to enjoy the game, it's admirable really. What I don't understand is people feeling the need to provide complaints about tag juggles+threads of a mode that was never DOA's approach to begin with.

If people really want tag to be taken to a competitive level or even provide sense of value, you may have to tell Team NINJA to create a separate game so that it can be truly focused as a tag game (similar route to Tekken) however that would be pointless even from them as it would be the same exact game just with more floaty combos and eating up funds projects.
