i get you tyren ,but i'm kinda miss these anime kind of character to be back on FF, seriously after FFX and FFX-2
the story become too serious..FF12 is about war, FF13 13-2 and13-3 is too seriouse
That's exactly me, I hate being stared at and touched because of what happened in 6th grade ~_~ The fact that they brought that much detail into his character just makes the game even more realisticRegarding Iris, I'm pretty sure she has a deeper personality. I'm sure she and Noctis have been good friends since they met (in the anime) and she has a hell of a crush on him. That's actually kinda normal but has the obviousness of a Japanese anime. That stuff is everywhere. I'm sure we'll all grow to like her in some fashion once we see more than a single in action scene with her and Noctis going on a "date".
And quickly touching on Noctis cringing at anyone touching him, probably a mental scar thing from his childhood injuries. I know a couple people like that that can't stand being touched because they were bullied pretty badly.
Sasuke was a direct inspiration for Noctis according to Nomura, so there you go. But I don't think he'll go down a similar road storywise.I looked up this Sasuke from Naruto, read his descriptions and bio, and I already cringed.

I suspect traces of Phantasy Star II and FF4 somewhere in the mix with the story.
That's why I mentioned he was also similar to Ren from Pirates of Dark Water in some ways.I've heard about that. Times have changed if Nomura had to get character influence from another (which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it's where you get the influence from). Aside from looks and physique, personality isn't so far closely to the character from the manga/anime. At least from what I can tell, Noctis doesn't suffer from friendship problems nor having superiority complex with childhood dilemma and clan stigma.
Phantasy Star II's story was pretty heavy for its time with a solid cast of characters, but if you play, be forewarned... the dungeons are big. Think Final Fantasy II, but instead of encounter room placements, there are pitfalls that take you down a floor if you haven't memorized the map.FF4 was an incredible game (can't speak of Phantasy Star II since I've never played it) but if it has some mix to those, sounds great.
Lol great I'll be sure to stay up for it! hopefully we see more than an advert for noodle's this time.
