Well this wasn't really off topic, it was DLC character which wasn't so bad, but I could see how it was "hurtin' da vibe" for some people when people started disagreeing on who should be added. I'm still wondering who the newcomer set will be for, I hope it's more stuff for the Ultimate and LR newcomers.

Anyways, I FINALLY got around to watching ruby. The visuals are hard to follow (not the animation but the art style), but I see why people were saying Ruby's outfit should go to Mila (same hairstyle).

That said, we all know damn good and well Mila would never get the spotlight and the main outfit would go to Marie or Honkers lol.

You know what? Mortal Kombat and COD are just games as much as any Japanese games. "It's just a game" can be applied to any game, not just Japanese games with sexual content.
I doubt Mortal Kombat really takes itself seriously that much with a fucking selfie + facebook upload fatality.

Although the casual thread was amazing and almost as good as Lisa I could understand why they closed it because there was a lot of arguing when they closed it. ( They should still open it though ) But this thread hasn't really gone of topic because dlc characters are pretty close to the topic.

Quite true, yes. It's even worse if their personal feelings go into the manner and it goes off topic much more than it has to be. Welp, time to get back on topic here we go:

@Jadeinchains - I wanted to say that Lisa will be very much alive in DOA6. So because of that, hopefully she will receive more outfits within DOA5LR without missing out. Obviously whatever I said doesn't click for connection between outfits and DOA6, but made a post after to go back on topic. There we go.

Yeah I hope she is alive and does get more outfits, If this November pack is a legacy pack hopefully she get's something from doa4.

While it's true that she's never been the main attraction for a dlc pack, Marie and Honoka technically haven't ALWAYS been the main attraction either, many dlc packs have used other characters as the top attraction, the recent Halloween pack is an example since the main attraction was Nyotengu.

That being said, RWBY is meant to be a family friendly series (at least until volume 3) and while it did come from the guy who made Dead Fantasy, I doubt Rooster Teeth would want to associate that series with doa. I only made the comparison between Ruby and Mila as a joke.

RWBY colors already exist in the latest BB game [RT themselves even tweeted about it] which their characters is hardly traditional feminism or even 'family friendly'.

Monty also went on record to be a fan of SG while he was still affiliated with RT. DoA is not that far off the 'let us stay away from this' chart.

I honestly hate this thread a lot more than the old Casual Thread. At least the Casual Thread was honest with itself about being a giant wad of crap. This one masquerades as a thread with a specific purpose, and then I browse through it for five pages and see nothing but horseshit.

I'm keeping my eye on this thread over the next few days. If you guys don't get it together, I'm going to wind up locking it and only unlocking it for the brief periods when there are actually new costume packs to discuss.

It's not even November yet and you guys already want more news? Patience people.
Halloween DLC came out on the 11th, so there's a strong chance November's DLC will release on November 8th or the 15th.
Like grunt said, Famitsu would more in likely show a preview of DOA5/DOAX3 dlc

Patience is a virtue that died long ago. People want it NOW, and they'll bitch and moan until it gets here. And when it does get here, they'll say it 'sucks' and call TN 'lazy'. Rinse and repeat.

The month is almost done. Its time to look forward to the next pack. We've forgotten about dlc pack much faster before, like within a few days of release.

Besides, november is the series' 20th, we've all been trying to guess what they have in mind to celebrate that since we have no idea and the monthly dlc pack is the most likely thing they will do.
