But back on topic, hopefully 2017 will be the year they give the western players some worthwhile DLC. It doesn't really bother me since I buy what I like and just play the game, I haven't bought any DLC yet since Mai was released.

Also he's good at animation. Dead or alive 5 animation still doesn't top Dead or alive 4. Unless TeamNinja put more in Dead or alive 6. :)

Anime style does not translate well to DOA5's aesthetic with its more detailed designs and realistic head-to-body proportions. Except for Honoka (bc she's barely wearing anything) these all look thick, even Kasumi's thanks to the side ponytail. I think I'd like hers if you could pick the blue ribbon ponytail with it but I'm guessing this one will have a locked hairstyle.

That's what I thought too, that or loose hair since the thicker outfits suit it better and add an illusion of thickness.

the anime doesn't translate well but i never pay much attention because it just comes off as cosplay since TN isn't going out the way to changing skin color, haircolor, faces etc etc. i just imagine theres a con every month and some of the DoA characters attend and somehow a fight always breaks out idk. again, another pack ima skip because i hate these packs.

I have the suspicion DOA's artstyle will revert to an anime inspired look in DOA6. That way they can sell their animu DLC even better. That' all DOA5 seems to be about in the last couple of years and what makes them the most cash.
