Eh, it's no big deal tbh

I'd rather wait and play the whole game besides, 10 hours isn't alot when a good 1/4 of that will probably be spent on customising Ryder especially of its lije Fallout 4 and you customise both

Well i finally found a use for my xbox one then.

But would that mean that you would have to stick with the xbone versions of any future games in order to import your game saves? Or will you just use the xbone for the trial?

Personally, i plan on going ps4 for this and am hoping to get the money needed to actually buy a ps4 by the time the game releases but can probably wait a few weeks to do both. Just have to avoid spoilers.

I'm getting it both for xbox and PC. Mainly Xbox because of the multiplayer with my friends.

Remember that EA Access (or Origin Access on PC) is the subscription based service of $5 a month, or $30 a year. So not everyone on PC/XBO will be able to play the trial.

There is still a multiplayer beta coming though. That one will not be available on PC, but only on PS4 and Xbox One. You can sign up here, after answering a bunch of questions;

I haven't even thought much about the multiplayer. I don't think I've even seen any footage of it. I heard that it will tie into the game's singleplayer but they haven't detailed exactly how.

I'd rather it had been a simple continuation of ME3's multiplayer with the old classes, characters, and enemies returning. I got more mileage out of ME3's multiplayer than the actual campaign!

Given the timeline, we can guess that at least the geth won't be playable. Maybe no batarians as well. Definitely no playable collectors too. Also no cerberus defectors. Every other species is likely to be back.

I also spent most of my time in 3 playing multiplayer. I just couldn't finish the singleplayer most of the time; i keep stopping after the ranoch missions.

I don't know all the details, but from what I know, you can send squad mates to complete the MP tasks for you, rather than playing them yourself if you have no interest in MP. I guess it gives additional use to the squad mates you don't normally use during combat.

You mean the actual named squadmates? That's an interesting choice but it would be limiting the number of characters to play as. I guess we just have to wait for more details. Surprising that multiplayer details are taking so long to come out, you'd think a feature that big would be talked about earlier...

I still need to play the third game. I loved the second game, but when the the third one came out I had other obligations. Is it still worth playing today?

And new Andromeda Initiative briefing;

Cora Harper? Any relations with Jack Harper aka The Illusive Man? I mean, it may just be a coincidence but they did rename James Saunders into James Vega just so people don't think he's related to Kaylee Saunders...

I'm sure you've heard of the ending controversy but since there is that extended ending dlc, that shouldn't be an issue for you as long as you haven't heard any spoilers from the original ending. As long as you have a save game from 2 to import over, you should be good. You don't have to import a save but the experience is more enjoyable if you do.

Overall, it's still worth playing, though I recommend you get the extended ending dlc (which is free) and the paid Leviathan dlc to best understand the main story. The omega and citadel dlc packs are fun but don't really add to the main story.

Definitely worth playing. If you haven't played the first game, it will likely be slightly tougher to get a "good" ending. But it's one hell of a ride. And well, even the best ending is... underwhelming compared to the rest of the game.
Don't know which DLC you played for ME2, but make sure you play Lair of the Shadow broker and Arrival at least, before jumping to ME3. As for ME3, all DLC except Omega is pretty much mandatory.

But you don't necessarily have to play ME3 before playing Andromeda. Andromeda starts just after ME2, and then jumps to 600 years in the future, in another galaxy.

still no freaking quarians. And yeah that's all i'm really looking for because this game doesn't really look very interesting overall. not BAD, but just not very interesting.

Most of it is just rehash of the previous games, and the plot itself seems really uninteresting. Lost in Space: Mass Effect Edition. Only they barely qualify as lost because the new galaxy is exactly the same as the old one. They even got to bring the Citadel with them.
