ugh, if the rumor is true then most characters on marvel's side are gonna be from MCU and that does not sit well with me.

im iffy because Squirrel Girl is officially part of the MCU now so i'm hoping that means she gets in.

On the other hand, I DESPISE MCU rocket with his bronx accent and much prefer classic Rocket with his cockney accent.

Then on a third hand, I'm so happy they have actual Ultron instead of "Generic dude" MCU ultron.

Interesting, and I believe MVC3 had it so that your block is based off of the currently tagged in player. So in this specific case if it were the same instance then blocking strider's attack might block both? I could be wrong but will wait until i play it to be sure how i feel about the system.

I just want Vergil back or some heavy tweaks to Dante. He got worse in UMvC3 in my opinion.

Yes, but not everyone reacts fast enough.

Also, the system here is new, not the assist system of the previous games. Who knows what grime we may find.

So far I'm liking everything gameplay in this vs game. Reminds me of MvC and XvS, both of which I prefer over MvC2 and 3, even though i'm far from a competent player in any of the four.

Yeah I would have to agree with you here. I've never been a fan of the 3 vs 3 tag system. For me it was just too much for me to remember

Just wondering, are non-MCU characters going to appear in this? I know X-Men/FF is out, but people seem to be under the impression that it's going to be super MCU focused, which I hope isn't true. I want to see other characters from the comics who have yet to appear in the MCU, such as Moon Knight and Gwenpool. Has anyone official said anything on it?

Too my knowledge and just by watching the videos and interviews. I haven't heard anything concrete about which type of characters they will bring. I remember in one of the interview. The one they the person that was in charge of Marvel games stated that they will not rule out the xmen characters yet.

I think only the Capcom leak turned out false (although that was from a different source with no pic)

This one hasn't been debunked yet and seems a bit credible. Tho at the same time, idk how they could know the entire Marvel side but not know amy of the Capcom side (or they knew it but didn't reveal it)

Also Green Goblin isn't a thing anymore. They've been working hard to have Norman Osborn be the threat as Marvel's answer to Lex Luthor, and he dropped the whole Goblin thing almost entire. It's just a logo/symbol now, he doesn't do the actual costume and glider anymore.

Marvel has been pushing Kamala hard as hell. MODOK was in MvC3, where Squirrel Girl was not. Howard the Duck is the only one of those characters who has appeared in the MCU, and Gwenpool is their way of making Deadpool without promoting FOX.

So yeah, actually, it's quite possible they could make all four of those and not your waifu.

Oh god, I hope to hell that list isn't legit!! Mostly B and C-tier Marvel characters - one giant commercial for Marvel movies and middle finger to old-school MVC fans.

except none of them are in the MCU aside from Howard, while Squirrel Girl is really popular as well and IS going to be in one of the upcoming shows (New Warriors).

the catch is apparently New Warriors is going to be on ABC so i'm not sure if that counts as MCU still, but apparently it does.

Only only other thing is Howard and Gwenpool are in contest of champions, but Squirrel Girl is in everything else.
