How can he create such an original and sophisticated character like Zafina and remove her after one game ? I thought she was supposed to anhile the third evil star (Kazumi) ?
Is he trying to create some superficial demand for her, in order to make up for her lack of popularity ?
Seems like something they would do : the character in the previous sequel wasn't popular, the character isn't in the new game, it will be in the next game due to fans' demand as a selling point.
Team Ninja didn't do it on purpose with Leon, but it worked pretty well with DOA5U.
On the other hand, I hope DOA could create someone with a similar background and gameplay. Or buy her, I suppose they are rich with all these DLCs.

Zafina has a fan base, although she's not as popular/wanted like characters suchas Julia, Lei, Anna (which are a few of the most wanted). If they aren't in the final release then what's done is done unfortunately. I really wanted Anna, but I'll settle for Claudio and Shaheen. Lee is my main though, so no worries.

There seems to a few hints at secret reveals or cameos, everyone that got to play the game are real vague or only allowed to show/talk about few parts of the story mode.
I heard something about Arabic players not liking the design and being insulted or something(no idea of its true), if it is true though it'd explain why she was cut and replaced by Shaheen as the Arabic rep for Tekken.
Jun is begged for a lot too, but I get the feeling she'll appear in cutscene only or as a vision to Jin. Gameplay wise though, idk why Jun fans are making a fuss, Asuka is in the game and plays almost identical.
Tag 2 Jun was slightly different but only because Asuka already took her move set lol

By the way guys, Tekken 7 is only $50 on PC. Debating if I should get it on that or on console. Here is where I'm at:
PS4:
O - Store will break the street date tomorrow so there's that I guess
O - More players
O - I'm a console lover
O - Learning the game will be much easier on a console due to more players and more feedback on it compared to PC, as well as better consistent use of it due to having other games on the platform.
X - Mods
X - Game is locked at 50-58FPS with the exception of cutscenes.
X - $10 more expensive than the PC version
PC:
O - Faster loading times
O - Can have better graphical output depending on the settings
O - $10 cheaper than the console version
O - Mods
O - 60FPS
X - Feedback for the PC version will be a lot smaller
X - No physical copy
X - Have to wait till deadline and installation etc.

Screw it I am GETTING this for X1!!!
I already got the game, installing as we speak. Day 1 patch won't happen till release so it's going to be pre-patched.
I'll have to work with the game mechanics, as well as the notations since the notations are similar to MKX. If I have to play this game on a competitive level I'll have to absorb the characters and movement.

It amazes me how much they improved master raven over raven. went from borderline bears tier in previous tekkens to alot of players putting her in S tier.
this video alone has me hyped to main her. dat damage, wall carry, and teleport mixup shenannigans is insane

Master Raven is pretty much what you get when you fuse Raven and Kunimitsu, she doesn't seem to have much if any Kuni moves but her teleport shenanigans is similar.
She's not a 1:1 Raven clone either though, I like her a lot doubt She'll be "new main" material but I can tell I'll have fun with her.
