Should DOA Xtreme be a sign about the future of characters?

With dead or alive xtreme stuff they've released two girls that look near similar to Marie Rose and Honoka. You have Misaki and Luna.

I doubt they will make some girl who is older in appearance or has darker complexion than any of these girls. I feel like the cutesy idol type is like the future of DOA girls and they will toss out Lisa Tina and Christie even like Mila. If Luna and Misaki are in DOA6 and also more girls like them in DOAX then some players have to take an L.

Are you concerned that your main might come back or you don't really care either way?

I am a little worried that in the future, DOA girls are dominated by loli characters.:oops:

I love how DOA5 looks and proportions of the characters. Right now it seems that the series is going the Senran Kagura style of characters. You know, that height of the Marie, Honoka, and Luna. Misaki's height is just fine. But with the usual DOA size of assets. I like the height of Kasumi, Ayane, Hitomi, Kokoro, and Leifang. Not too tall. Not too short.

yeah, DOA xtreme is canon within the DOA universe since marie and honoka (both introduced in ultimate and last round) get to be in DOAX.

no worries , maybe one new male character will be introduce in DOA6.

Only loli girls from now on and they'll toss out Christie and Lisa? Lol, by that logic they'd toss out all male characters in DOA6 too. There would be no reason to keep them.
While I'm sure Marie and Honoka will make into DOA6 from the start, I highly doubt that the two other random lolis, which are only featured in a gacha browser game and not even in the actual DOAX3, will be in the DOA6 starting roster. Even if just for the obvious reason that you can't sell them to horny fanboys later if they are already included. ;)

Last but not least one thing that many seem to forget all the time: The DOAX fanbase is just a fraction of the complete DOA fighting game fanbase. Outside of Asia DOAX3 did not even release anymore. That small fraction of fans won't decide what the much bigger and popular main series is going to be like in the future.

There's going to be ANOTHER NEW girl for X3 :mad::mad::mad:!? It would be much easier if they just added in the the girls who didnt get in :mad:.

I just looked her up and she does look like ANOTHER Marie clone. Even for them, this is really lazy. They may us well just remodel EVERY girl in the series to look like her, it would be just like how the girls all had the same face before 5...

The focus on Marie is going way too far, I cant believe I used to like her...

The new characters look so generic and boring, like your typical anime girl with boring style and hair cuts. Honoka was enough already. Why not a nice vietnamese girl for non-pedos and a few new male characters? I wouldn't be surprised if they'd release Xtreme 4 before we see a proper new doa, since there are enough people who waste money on dlc outfits and bikinis

Somehow i feel like that won't happen. At least not for a long time.
DOAX3 could have lasted longer if they added dlc characters.
I guess that's why VV was created but it's downgraded even more even with updates.
Worst case they'll just make DOAX4 for PS5 since each X game is made for each generation.
Everyone expecting DOA6 anyway.

Why are your concerns focused on trends you see in DOAX? The DOA franchise has been introducing horribly designed female characters since DOA4.

Okay just thought you might be talking about...someone else there for a second, Do you really not like Kokoro's design though or think It's bad? I thought her whole geisha/meiko look thing was actually interesting looking. As for Alpha cheap ass ptsd inducing final boss fight with her in doa4 aside her design is simple but pretty cool for the whole pure energy kinda thing.

Bland hair, bland face, bland costumes, bland animations, bland personality and derpy-ass moveset

It's like TN was afraid of giving her any somewhat unique/notable features. Kokoro is wretched.
