Senran Kagura Series

Maybe they wanted to give them new designs then because It's likely they are going to be in SK7.

Seeing as how none of the new wave teams have shown up in the main games (as teams), I personally doubt they are setting up to add new teams into 7even, its more likely we will see some individual characters from different new wave teams showing up (like Ayame does, especially since she is already being setup as Kat's replacement).

It would be nice to see more teams for more story and gameplay but that may be too much work and seeing how Burst Re:Newal is just estival versus with the story of burst, the devs are either lazy or lack the resources to put in EVERY girl as playable.

The thing is though is that Arc Angels ( That that other idol group of girls but mostly Arc Angels ) have been heavily hinted at as being in SK7 so that's why I think that they'll be in it.

Also yeah renewal from everything I've seen and heard isn't that great and looks like it's just like EV with Bursts story etc and reuses a lot of things but that seems like a quick side game remake where as SK7 Is actually a fully new main game.

Maybe they will show up, but if 7even will be the last major story, its more likely the main focus will be in the 4 main teams as well as Kagura (and maybe her forming a team with Naraku and the Mikagura sisters). The new wave teams COULD show up but they would likely have very little focus on the story. They could then save the development of the other teams for future games.

lmao I just looked at Re:Newel's DLC and its literally just EVs DLC like the exact same images from EV/PBS and everything including the Sakura bikinis with the girls that ain't even in the game yet... literally nothing is new at all! Guess I'll just buy the characters when it come mes out in the west.

Yeah Re:newal is just SK Burst in an SK EV platform. It’s mostly to cater to SK fans who don’t have the original 3ds version

SK7even is an actual next main game, so we’ll likely see more new characters. Arc Angels having their redesigns shown right after 7even getting new info does say something, especially since they were likely hinted in the 7even teaser trailer anyway

Just got Estival Versus...

How on bloody earth do you play this Game... I keep getting my Ass whooped as soon as do anything other than guarding... and when the shinobi from the other academy show they take that one thing away from me leaving me with no way to defend myself

Depends on your character/level/enemies, but generally speaking:
Find your fastest launch combo. Start attacking just before the mob reaches you (circle your enemies if they aren't bunched up) and immediately enter your fastest launch into aerial rave. Rinse/repeat. Save your ninja scrolls for boss enemies (or the annoying freezy guys), and don't transform into Yang mode until you are low on health (as it instantly heals you to full). Use the target lock only on enemies that can guard.

Bonus tips:
-Learning your character's breach art (hold Y/triangle) can be a game-changer. Example: Asuka is fast but has short range and can struggle to open up defensive opponents with her regular strikes. Her breach art is a guard break teleport that leads into an aerial rave, thus largely bypassing this otherwise notable shortcoming.
-Most scroll arts have invincibility, but timed properly, you can counter an enemy scroll art by activating one of your own just after.
-If an enemy boss is nearing half-health and you have scrolls/transformation, consider unleashing your biggest ninja art in yin (frantic) mode. If calculated correctly, you can prevent them from activating their yang transformation and getting their health back (and prevent them from spamming ninja arts with i-frames).

If you're looking for tips on specific characters I can provide that, though obviously I'm more familiar with some than others.

Just to add onto this, all of them are invincible to anything but a higher level art. If you respond to an enemy's 1 scroll art with a 2 scroll art, you'll beat them out and cancel their attack. If two 5 scroll arts collide, both users will take damage, but neither will be cancelled. This is also the only way to damage transformed characters like Crimson Homura.

LoL... I've been doing that already (Drawing from my souls games experience)...but I assumed thats not how I'm supposed to be playing it.

You know what... I'm just gonna switch to Easy and just enjoy the Fan Service.

You may literally be the most inept gamer I've ever met in my life. That or an extremely redundant troll.

Before you try to contest that the instructions I gave are the same principles used in Dark Souls, don't bother. I can't teach the blind to see.

I haven't even told you what the principles in Dark Souls even are... I think you're jumping the gun.

I don't play dark souls but I'm pretty sure that you're playing estival versus wrong if you play it like a dark souls clone.

I can somewhat understand you struggling to play if you're new to the game and playing on hard with level 1 characters though.

I'm not playing it like Dark Souls... I'm approaching it like Dark Souls.

Please explain how is that any different?

If you're playing estival versus for the fanservice, you may as well just keep losing since the girl you play will get stripped down anyways.

The Difference is more Abstract... I'm not applying the exact same methods of Dark Souls but I am still applying the same general tactic used in Dark Souls.... Kiting, Exploiting and Hoarding.... there is however one thing that is identical to Dark Souls... The Camera.

At first.... but you get more Fanservice from winning.

Which is the same thing you do in God of War and most every other action game, but may as well highlight Dark Souls in particular because apparently everything is like Dark Souls.

Well, it's a third-person camera. Your inability to come to terms with how those work is going to alienate you from 90% of all action games.

For you perhaps... I never needed to approach God of War and Bayonetta like its Dark Souls... why ? I honestly don't know... I'l look into that at some point.

but may as well highlight Dark Souls in particular because apparently everything is like Dark Souls.

Well... yeah.... every developer's been trying to copy various aspects of that series. And can you blame'em ? The fornula is essentially: "Passing off rubbish mechanics as a form of difficulty."

That's not what I meant... you're jumping the gun again.
