I want to ask you the same thing. If they end up having the same or very similar measurements, would you accept you're wrong?
Or would you complain if the boobs are the same but the shoulders are skinner? or face is longer? or fingers are smaller? Would you complain if Tina for instance is actually bigger from her DOA 5 model?

I very well could be wrong. There could be a centimeter's worth of difference if you overlay the models on top of each other. But I don't think I am wrong because I've played the game in person and have actually made comparison shots. Other people here have done comparison shots. We've been going over this nonsense for months and it's been debunked and it's tired. It's tiring when we've gone through this countless times, then someone new shows up and just spouts the same stuff like we haven't already checked.
And even if there is that centimeter's worth of difference, then who cares? Close enough. If they are making new models for the characters, I wouldn't expect it to always be exactly the same to the pixel length. Have the cup sizes been exactly the same from game to game up until now? No.
I'm not just going to defend stuff for no reason. I've already said that Helena's breasts are indeed smaller because they are. So when I say that Kasumi and Ayane have pretty much the same model proportions, it's because they do.

Im getting tired of this discussion too. I thought we were past all this. The characters are still sexy, there's still fanservice, the models and stages still look better than mostly every fighter out there, why is this an issue?

I took the time to translate the announcement video letter for Nico from her voice actress since it seems they aren't putting it up on the ENG site. Not too much to note though. It's at the top of the JP site now.

All the girls in Dead or Alive are cute of course, but it makes me happy to think of NiCO being added alongside them. When I was recording, I was struck by how grandiose her win poses are, but seeing how well reproduced they are in the game, I couldn't help but be impressed. At the time, we were working with the rough sketches for her character, and then she was quite boyish in her design. She's a scientist, moreover as a villain, with her cool, calm disposition and the overflowing sense of intelligence you get from her, she even appears rather smug. She has a lot of lines and says a lot of chuunibyou-like things, but I was able to enjoy getting really into the spirit of her character playing her." Then she says the date and demands you pre-order (lol).
Like I said not much there, but I'd love to see what her more 'boyish' early designs were like.
