I've been taking a look to the screenshots of the command list of Tina from the DOA Fest build, and I've compared them to the list from LR in the wikia. There aren't any new strings from what I could see, but there are some new throws. I can't read kanji, so this is just mere speculation via commands comparisons. I've marked what I'm sure is a new move in green, and those I'm not so sure of in yellow:

Not sure about the first one in yellow, it seems like an "against the wall" version or something like that. Wasn't sure if it was already in LR, but I haven't seen it in the wikia. The 63214T one could be the second throw Tina does in the trailer against Bass. Maybe the yellow one is the first one against the ropes?

And for the last two yellow ones, I can't read the specifications. Maybe 2 throws while she's down in the floor?

Hope you guys bring some light to this thread. Be free to comment about anything regarding her gameplay :D


P.D: Also, Burning Hammer (1P+K) is gone.

Im hoping she'll have a new string as well. Or more command grab options from existing strings, like what they did with Lisa

2.opponent heads down(in air),anyway it's just a new air throw animation,I think it's pretty cool,because well it was kinda wired in DOA5 that you hit them a bounce juggle like P+K and using same air throw animation with normal juggle like 33K

I just want more throws. well players ain't fool,they just pick the best choice,in fact in DOA5U,Tina had only 3 best stand throws,4T、6T series and J.O.S,4T had a pseudo guarantee ground 2T which made it the best 8F throw in DOA5U,what's more,this 4T could be used as a painful reset throw.
In DOA5LR,Tina got a big nerf in 4T so she only got 2 best left,it's kinda ironical,she suppose to be a graber but her stand throw punish even worse than Hitomi.
Think about it,she has a 66T OH that guarantees a ground 2T,why would she ever use that unsafe 46T OH lol
I don't think DOA6 gonna fix this tho;)

Yeah that grab was Super Slow... you could use it as a dirty reset to chuck someone into a Dangerzone but that a highly situational scenario...

This is why I love Rachel... shes got WAAAAAAAAAAY fewer Throws but all of them are practical and useful and none of them infringe on other throw's purpose/properties.... Tina just doesn't have that... more importantly all her good throws are just harder to do... like The one I mentioned earlier and MDT... and even her Giant Swing.


I don't think DOA6 gonna fix this tho;)

Thats a shame... because I really wanted a complete Overhaul over her throw game plan.

Oh well... atleast we have Nyotengu !!! :D shes basically Anime Tina.

Ah ok. I thought I count 60 moves as far as her throw count was concerned vs 50 in the last install. Although she has some slaps now. Kinda off for her.

She needs a fast reset throw badly,any new throw without a reset function is useless

and shinning wizard's still a normal throw,lol still useless.

As @GarryJaune said, I hope they give her some reset throws and make shinning wizard an OH.
actually she has some "reset" throw options,but all garbages,especially 214T*4T,a fucking easily escaped slow combo throw guarantees nothing?WTF? How Bass teached her daughter lol he has a same throw guarantee 6KP →ground grab→reset again.
The result is, this very throw always coming out because Tina players failed a JOS lol

I maybe wrong,but I still believe Tina has most trash moves in DOA5:rolleyes:

I'm starting to think it will be the one for the 63214T command.

From what I could spot :p, the new gameplay features:
  • New air throw, when facing opponent's head.
  • 7K and a new follow-side throw.
Remarks:
  • 8P is FS.
  • Break Hold for high/mid K?
