lol, I meant to make fun of the whole thing about fan service by throwing a false statement then laugh at it, and I'm perplexed between "He didn't get the joke" and "He's doubling down on the joke", so I'm out for now.
I'm willing to bet some of it will be easy arcade unlocks, and other things will be locked behind difficult quests.

He said it's in the build he tested two days ago. ALSOOOOO he said that each girl has at least one costume that's on the sexy side
Idk if anyone had posted this yet but I thought it was cool we at least got some costume confirms without actually seeing the costume xD I'm trying to ask him if it's the same story for the men as well

What if those are costumes I like?
I just hate difficulty hurdles that hinder me from completing a game or that lock away content from me in a game. Games are an escape from the stress of daily life and work for me, I don't want be stressed out by games as well. I want to relax and have fun. DOA is supposed to be a fun game, right?
It would imo be a fair solution to earn in-game currency no matter which mode or difficulty you play on. The currency you earn on easy and normal settings or by repeating the same modes is just a lower amount than what you would earn in higher difficulties and more skill or time consuming modes. I'd be willing to grind currency for a costume or costume part that I really like a bit longer.

fun is never perceived the same way among people. to some, walking on a red carpet with no resistance isn't very fun. some will argue that you have no business loitering in locked/exclusive content if you didn't have the aptitude to unlock them in the first place, like harder raids/phases in an MMO
i don't think those examples apply to cosmetics though, and i do prefer the unlocking process here to be hassle-free since i want to use that in OTHER challenging content, like versus people
but difficulty settings in the recent games were way less obnoxious than the past. Normal pretty much starts at the 6th level lol

I don't think they'll do that tbh, they only had an unlock code because when the console versions were released, there was a bug or something that made some players lose data so they sent it out for them, that's why PC never got that code iirc. Plus an unlock code would be lame imo, it takes away the fun of unlocking outfits
