  • Why is Maxi's right sidestep faster than his left sidestep in SCIV? That's odd. Both sides should have the same speed.

Right-handed warriors tend to be weak on their left side.

Reminds me of the old Tomb Raider games where Lara would only leap using her Right Foot while running.

His right sidestep animation looks faster than his left. His left sidestep speed looks normal.

I'm not sure about that though because Yun-Seong's BB tracks to his left but Xianghua's 66BB tracks to her right. I guess it depends on the move or the character. Raphael's tracking is really bad though. Even some of his horizontal moves can be sidestepped by Astaroth or Voldo who has one of the slowest movement.
I remember how simple the inputs were in Soul Calibur II and III. Soul Calibur IV move sets have so many just frames/just inputs.

SoulCalibur II wasn't really easy. SoulCalibur V is arguably easier.

Soul Calibur II was a really deep game, but the inputs were fair except for Ivy's command throws. Soul Calibur V had many stuff that were simplified compared to the previous games.
I'm just gonna have to wait for Maxi, Yun-Seong, Seong Mi-Na, Cassandra, and Raphael to be there and my roster wish list will be complete.
Best English voices: Kasumi, Rig, Hayate, Brad Wong. Best Japanese voices: Momiji, Mila, Nyotengu, Leifang. Just my opinion.
I thought I was the only one who extremely hates the Tekken community. One of the reasons why I moved to DOA. It used to be great years ago.

The YT comments on videos are awful regardless tbh, they're just weird as fuck. If you actually wanna get to the chill side of the TK community watch twitch streams.

@Cr!msonWarrior Exactly. The moment you see a modest comment that doesn't seem to be offensive at all, you'd see a reply that is already flaming someone. It just doesn't make sense.

Twitch streams are fine as long as its not the popular ones. The popular ones have followers that are just as retarded as the ones in YouTube.

I like Tekken, but I never really did anything in the community, except for one PSN group.
I don't like Soul Calibur V, but that game had pretty good soundtracks. The best in the series in my opinion.
Some people are afraid of constructive criticism because they get offended when their flaws (or the things they like) are being pointed out.

That makes absolute sense, too. I sent one page of my story to a friend and he said 'the villain has absolutely no motive' and i'm like 'COME ON IT'S JUST THE FIRST PAGE YOU DON'T KNOW THAT' lol

Though it depends on how the criticism was projected or how the criticism was received. Some people take it as an insult that they feel offended because they don't wanna admit its flaws or the one who did the criticism said something that made it not constructive but more offensive instead.

Wrong: Your analysis is shallow with poor judgement.
Right: It lacks some of the details that could have been mentioned.

Exactly, I don’t mind criticism but don’t criticize in a offensive manner. Especially when someone didn’t ask for it.
I wish DW9 still had that online multiplayer like in 7 and 8. It would be fun to play co-op with friends (even though I don't have any).

"I need to replace my current friends [...] I’m tired of them"

    "That's very kind of you."

    This juxtaposition cracked me up.

Damn, I was sleepy AF when I read his comment, I only paid attention to the "I can be your friend if you want me to" and ignored the second sentence xD
Full circle commands feel easier to do in DOA than in Tekken (ー○ー) Which is a good thing because I just did Izuna Drops 4 times in a row.

I was kinda naïve that whenever I see a new player having difficulty performing Lee’s b+2 Mist Step cancels in a combo, it made me wonder on how is that difficult because it felt pretty easy to me, but I didn't know other fighting games had more loose inputs than Tekken because I barely play other fighting games before besides Tekken and Soul Calibur.

I don't think the inputs in Kekken are difficult, easy, or technical: I think they're genuinely SHIT.
Why in fuck doesn't the game just let me buffer quarter circle motion, forward forward motion moves etc. during the recovery of the previous animation? Why didn't they add that 1 frame of leniency on simultaneous multiple button presses like any other sane fighter did? Everything feels like shit. Still fun though.

I dunno. Namco devs are mad I guess. JK Lol Kekken Seben has that 1 frame of intentional input lag.
Every time I fight Brad Wong, I get brain damage. He just made Hayate's qcf+P whiff only because he did a limbo with that stoner stance.

@WAZAAAAA Yeah, I've seen those videos just recently. The first one I saw was the PPPPP strings with Christie. Honestly, I got kinda tired of his constant superiority complex he often displays here and other sites like those Steam forums. He just needs to be taught how to be polite somehow.
    Onryoki

He needs to be taught how to form proper sentences. He literally doesn’t make any sense, like at all.
Jann Lee seems kinda unsafe...don't you think? He has some moves that makes him do an automatic taunt which adds up to his recovery frames.

*sigh... I ve seen FD way before starts playing, but if you insist... HFGL...

yeah the forced auto-taunts are a pain in the behind
    Shirataki Tsume
    Shirataki Tsume
It feels like I could only use them without facing its risk by hitting the opponent at open space because when I do them at the wall, my opponent can still hit me because they can get up before the taunt finishes. I think one of them is punishable on juggle like his 4K46K because it doesn't knock the opponent far back. He gets an additional of 60+ frames of recovery just for him to say "Oooooh".
Whenever I see Rock Lee or Might Guy do a Primary Lotus, what comes into my mind is Ryu Hayabusa's "HAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"
Hundreds of Logan/Jake Paul videos on YouTube that talk about the same thing. Less than 20 is enough. To me, they're just fishing for views.
