    Konami, is a piece of garbage, they destroyued one of the best loved franchises of all time, they should have let MGS be,, instead they exploit consumers with making MGS slot machines, and now the free to play version of a game that you have to pay $40 for, and then pay over $100 to get all the content

    most fighters have 1 dominatrix themed character, DOA5LR has 3, show some restraint man!

    @DontForkWitMe “Ninja based characters” aren’t ninja’s Phase 4 and Alpha 152 are clones.

    I don’t really see how the ninja’s are overkill in DOA. The game is about ninja’s, it would be weird to have like 1 or 2 ninja’s in DOA when the game is about them.

    Also about tekken. Having multiple Mishima’s in tekken also isn’t weird.

    Characters from the same group can still be very diverse. If we look at the 7 ninja’s in DOA you can see how different they all are in terms of gameplay, personality and design. So I don’t really see why having 7 ninja’s in DOA is considered “overkill” especially not in a game like DOA where basically every character is really good and isn’t based on tiers.

    UNIEL actually has A lot of cool characters id like to play, it just that I have a hard time pinpointing what I'm supposed to do with them cause they're so dam quirky

    Akatsuki is about as basic as it gets, he has a fireball, uppercut, hurricane kick, and a parry, pretty much writes itself with that toolkit. Then again I do like the "shoto with a twist" in airdashers, so maybe he'll stick

    He's a Gateway way character. Perhaps he's just a temporary stop beforw your true main.

    if pyschoflicker is eds punches then yes it is, and you don't really have to mash it, now that it's 4 inputs you can just piano it smoothly, but ppl will still mash it like it's sf4

    LoL.... I don't have enough buttons on a single surface to Piano it.

    And yeah those multi purple punches from Ed is called Psycho Flicker.... I believe those are still 5 Buttons to activate.

    I'm just joking... Smash was suppose to be a party game.... they needed to disable a few features to give it competitive viability, so I guess they're not too picky about touch of Death Stuff.... they know they're lucky to have the game be competitive as is.

    the classic dilemma, do I go for the easy mode scrub combo that i will never drop or the one that nets maximum reward but is harder to do

    The combo that allows a reset. The maximum damage combo is to kill, or if you want a significant life lead early on.

    @Force_of_Nature it's funny cause the reset combos and the combos that lead into oki are the ones that are easy, it's the combos that lead into big damage are the ones im having trouble to land, so i end up in this situation where my opponent has 50% life and i just hit them with a hit confirm low A string and im like

    "okay, i have 3 bars, the proper assist and he has no burst, i can go for the easy mode scrub combo that im unlikely to drop but wont kill, or i can go for the much harder combo that will definitely put me over the edge and will kill, but is prone to drops due to it's difficulty"

    P.S this is all regarding Ignis from nitroplus blasters so while it's not DOA, the idea of consistency vs optimization is still relevant

    I mean, yeah. Aside from looking, acting and speaking similarly, they were both raised by their grandmothers with no mention of their parents, both play guitar, both have similar punkish tastes (Honoka's black skull emblem, Sonico's favorite genre of music is punk rock), the list goes on. For quite a while.

    and im pretty sure honokas newcomer dlc outfit is something sonico has worn before. when you do sonicos' lvl 3 super in nitroplus blasterz and it goes all anime you can see sonico wearing a very similar costume.
