Honestly, the entire trailer just looked like DmC2 to me, with "My name is Dante" being called "Nero" instead. Pretty disappointing.

Its definitely classic DMC Nero is literally doing DMC4 shit, it's using RE engine from RE7 so they went for a realistic style instead of the anime look from DMC1-4

Well, no one was doubting what continuity it takes place in. As for the style, DmC also literally did "shit" from past DMC games, as well. Just because you see some things that you recognize doesn't mean it's "definitely classic DMC." The visual style, atmosphere and tone all seem more reminiscent of DmC, to me, than DMC1-4.

Nah the vocal track was very very DMC. I more or less agree with the rest though. Wouldn't be bad if the aestethic of its places/levels shifted from dark crappy DmC urban areas to actual legit DMC churches and castles.

So, apparently there will be three playable characters. There's a promotional image, showing the backs of three characters, who I'm assuming are the playable protagonists. Third one doesn't necessarily look like Nero's new lady-friend, but I could be mistaken. What do you guys think?

3rd guy is supposed to be someone new, I've heard around the web that he might be called Nico.
It's also theorised the the cloaked dude that takes Nero's Devil Bringer is Vergil.(coat cuffs are the same style as his DMC3/4 coat)
