Has it occurred to any of these narcisstic morons that maybe TN toned down the fanservice because they wanted to move in this direction? The negative press that DOA6 is receiving is making me lose faith in humanity and illustrates what's wrong with the modern gaming landscape. It's the same type of fuckheads that whined about DOAX3, and probably wouldn't touch the games either way regardless of the negative press.

All I can say is, only time will tell. I doubt things like this would affect the sales. I mean the media has been on DOA case about sexuality for years but here we are still going despite the negativity. So we just have to wait.

It they feel treated like shit by TN and doa communities this is what will probably happen.

Overall probably not, though DOA5 didn't really sell that well either. I just want DOA6 to succeed and applaud the direction TN is moving in to try and boost the franchise's profile. Another concerning thing is all of a sudden there's a bunch of gamers out there actually caring about boobs and fanservice. It's like a bunch of closet perverts jumped out of the closet! =O

TN was more than happy to milk them with BS dlc and thanks to their PR it felt like a middle finger.

You see it's not all of a sudden as you stated.They were here for a longtime the dlc comedy proves it.

DOA has never flopped on released, and will always surround itself in controversy. Physical sales don't mean shit for fighting games anymore. it will survive.

Good point about vanilla DOA5 when they did try to be serious with "I'm a Fighter" thing. Now there trying at it again. This time amping the violence just a bit.

If it's so bulletproof why such drastic turnover, or seemingly drastic turnover ?

Was it simply to please america's medias or an honest approach ?
