Oh boy, i could write a book about it lol. I guess it has to do with my personality too, as i always quit things.
I think i figured my opponent out, he always does the same and i still fall for it all. I always feel ready and prepared after putting in so many hours and still dont do great. I guess im just disappointed with myself. Could be playing some offline game, there i wont have to live up to my own expectations
Yeah listen. That's all in your head. I can walk through my door after a long day at work and log on and match up against someone like DestructionBomb and get absolutely shredded (Which would be the outcome make no mistake) but that doesn't mean I did terribly. He did better. Was better. Everyone starts at the bottom and has to build their way up. The only way you make progress is by being your own ally.
Accept the defeat, recognize what you did wrong through tape review, and come back at it again but never give up. Giving up or not believing in yourself are the only times you truly fail and should be disappointed.
You aren't a failure you're just in the rough. You just need to find your way forward. No matter how many times you get beat, or face trolls on DOA that taunt you, you can/will always improve as long as you pay attention and give it 100%
At some point it begins to feel useless. This is also why i can never stick with a character for too long. Thankfully Lisa is too awesome to throw away
