Do you mean the face punches? No, they just seem to shy away from showing those with the female characters in trailers. The "real" DOA fans would set social media aflame.

No, its just only certain characters do it, which I'm glad. I'd actually be annoyed if everyone did a generic punch to the face.

They should be more realistic tho about who does them tho, I don't see how Helena can do a face palm hit but Hitomi doesn't, even tho she's the most likely to actually punch you in your face...

I agree with @KasumiLover considering the knees she throws into peoples faces and temples, and one of her holds being a take down into a fist through your face and into the ground behind it.

In karate its generally taught to hit the sternum area. Its a bigger weak point than the face. I also like Hitomi's BB way more than a generic punch to the face.
