This game is gonna be a new beast altogether so its gonna be an interesting ride to see what everyone can come up with.. particularly with the loss of stagger escape :/
Lets just say its gonna change lame play forever.. its basically one less mechanic to have to deal with. Personally it might be really drastic since it is my go to defensive option over holds.
@Lulu i've already explained it...If i'm reduced to hold... or hold...in defense...i probably won't play this game.Doa is considered trash because of stun/Hold.Removing the only tool which mitigates it is dumb.How am i supposed to take this "seriously" as a FG...

Uhm you do realise there are non-stagger escapable setups right ? If I was still Playing Tina you wouldn't be able to Shae of my Stuns and be forced to hold or not hold anyway.... also while I was experimenting with other Characters I came up with a few routes that were not Stagger Escapable but still allowed mixups.
So really that mechanic was infact kinda pointless. only moderately useful occasionally
Its the samething with With Grapplers in Street Fighter V... either jump or don't jump... lol.... and alot of people don't like Force Guess Scenarios.... I Freaking Love'em... and Holds gave that to me.
@Lulu I know it's exactly their purposes, but any CH puts you in Stun,low strikes will be godlike and WuKs will be annoying as hell.Why removing something that doesn't hurt the game and needs execution ? Guaranteed followup on WuKs ? Yeah no thanks...
@Lulu the problem is we have no proof of that...the stun system should have been their first priority.Doa's gameplay is controversial for a reason, and meter is clearly not enough for me.
