with tag it'd be cool if they made like a "final destination" form for the areas or removed danger zones, just some visual variety

Well the tag stages are designed for tagging in and out, and DB showed how much dumber (or hype haha) some stages would be in tag. Basically, most stages are not balanced for tag. But yeah, Team battle should be playable on any stage.
