i think their both annoying, but i understand why developers put them in, it allows newer players to handle unfamiliar combat situations, and even though the idea of a super hold in doa annoys the shit out of me, at least it's tied to meter. Reversal edge has no limit so that's what make it annoying, but there are ways around it (break attacks, unblockables, and i think they don't track, at least some dont)
They come up with new and new ways to lower the skill ceiling in games. It was bad in injustice and it still is rng based rock paper scissors bs. Plus it destroys the purpose of characters like Aoi and Leifang if everyone can parry everything as much as they want. Game would be so good without it. Well, saves me money so thanks $amco
