I don't know about DMC5... feels too similar to DMC4... which I didn't enjoy as much as I wanted to.

Resident Evil 2 doesn't have Co-Op soooooooo.... Meh...

And Street Fighter 4 was straight up impossible to play... clearly not made for a normal flawed human being such as myself.

You know what I would like though ?

A sequal to Lost Planet 2... a proper multiplayer Sequal, not the Narrative one like Lost Planet 3

DMC4 is pretty good. My only issue with the game is that Dante feels so bad to play. Sure, haven't unlocked all abilities yet, but if you're not donguri or close to his level of talent with the character, chances are that his part of the game will piss you off, unless you play broken af Vergil. Haven't really played much RE yet, but I think i'm more attracted to the survival horror RE's.

SF4 was hard to get into, but fun once you know what to do. Could've probably made it to 2500PP to 3000PP with Juri, but since the game isn't really played I don't want to do that grind. Haven't played or seen much of Lost Planet, is it a shooter?

Yeah that was my issue with Dante... He was too difficult to be fun... and now he's back in DMC5 With the exact same control scheme... I just know the style switching is going to Bother me...

Knowing what to do in SFIV wasn't the problem... the problem was could you do it at all ? For me the answer was a definite No... as it usually is in many Fighting Games... SFIV just happened to be the first. :(

The best way I can describe Lost Planet is... it was A Japanese Equivalent of Unreal Tournament only with much more bold ideas....

It was by far the most unique multiplayer shooter not only to come out of Japan but everywhere.... theres just nothing like it...

Lost Planet 2 is actually okay to play right now if you can round up 4 people you know... you have to play this game with friends.

Sure, there were some harder techniques like kara throws, FADC's weren't extremely easy either, but just like KBD, wavedashes and electrics in Tekken, it comes with a lot of practice to be able to pull them off consistently. Regarding Dante, style switching was only the cherry on the cake. His styles in DMC4 weren't as good as in DMC3, best example would be Royalguard. LP sounds like a fun game in that case.

Most shooting/battle royale/League of Legends games are better with a squad almost all times.

LoL... Kara throws ?

I didn't even get that far... simply performing Raw Supers IN TRAINING MODE with no time pressure was Highly inconsistent.... Hit Confirming was impossible...

Literally every basic thing that can be considered a fundemental skill required Sako like Dexterity to just to be able to do.

I'm not exaggerating when I say SFIV was impossible to play... I'm being serious... That game is unplayable.

Those things you just listed about Tekken are exactly why I don't play Tekken...

Thats the thing about DMC4... Dante had all the styles available at the press of a button instead of commiting to just one in a menu....

The reason you might think Dante's Styles in DMC4 are lackluster because you still think you're suppose to commit to a style for longer than 3 seconds the way DMC3 made you do for whole missions.

When in reality you're suppose to be switching styles literally every 3 seconds to just to have satisfactory combat with him...

It was extremely strenuous.

Confirming supers off of special moves is probably the easiest way of doing supers. In Ryu's case, you can cancel a fireball into his super. Kara throws are throws that also make you move somewhat close to the enemy, so you can throw them even if you're not exactly close enough to land a throw, Ken's forward middle kick into throw is the best out of all those throws. There are also one-frame links and plinking.

The game can be intimidating for sure. Tekken is probably one of the hardest fighting games to get into and to master everything it has to offer. Movement and proper punishing is key to winning matches in that game. I mean, it's sort of impossible to switch between styles like that unless if you have 20 fingers or 4 hands.

Yeah but then how do I confirm into the Fireball (or any special) in The First Place ? Remember theres no input buffer and you can't cancel a normal into a special unless that normal was linked... which I did manage to do in both Ryu's and Makoto's Trial but the Special refused yo cancel for some reason... I'm dead certain I got the link right because low Jab into Low Forward isn't a Target Combo...

I can't say for sure about One Frame Links but Plinking is still definitely a thing in SFV... which makes sense... Its a natural concequence of the input leniency... I plink Taunts all The Time... by accident ofcourse.

Honestly... even if I could play Tekken... I genuinely don't find it interesting... there doesn't seem much to it other than Whiff Punishing and Lengthy Juggles. Now VF... thats a different story.

Sometimes I mess up my cancels too its just like messing up the izuna throw, except you might get punished for it and you have less time at your disposal to do them in Street Fighter. As soon as you press medium punch or kick for example, you have to do the motion and the button for a fireball right after, you have to slide your fingers to do it, since pressing the directional buttons separately would be really hard.

Still, that is probably the most stylish way of disrespecting your opponent in any fighting game. The juggles are lengthy in Tekken, which is also a reason why some people didn't really like Tekken 6-Tekken 7 and wanted a Tekken 5 type of juggling system back, for dumb reasons, since you did more or less the same damage with a juggle in that game too. Virtua Fighter should come back, but I don't know if it'll happen.

I did that... I literally practice the cancel portion of the trial to make sure I was doing it right and when it failed I checked the input log to see if actually inputted the diagnol and didn't press punch before pressing forward...

If I was doing something wrong then I don't know what it is because the game won't tell me.

NEVER GIVE UP HOPE !!!
VF WILL RETURN... Maybe....

punch or kick comes after the forward motion. There is a reason why people say qcf(quarter circle forward) or qcb(quarter circle backward), you have to it fully before pressing any button for the special move to come out. Don't know if SFV has a tutoriaal for something like this, but SFxT had one. It would be neat for a legendary fighting game like VF to make a return, but who knows when Sega will think that

its worth investing into a new game. Haven't heard too much about Virtua Fighter 5 after its release, even though the game looks to be pretty good. Died out quite fast like Soul Calibur 5.
