@KasumiLover Yeah PS4 pro can go up to 1080 (it's my main console), but also record/stream at 720p60fps (however locked at 30fps for 1080).
Chaos - You'll likely get more benefit if you had the pro, but even I think it's a pretty unnecessary upgrade just for higher recording FPS when you can get a capture card that works on a regular PS4 and PS4 pro on a higher res, FPS, bitrate quality etc.
@crapoZK - I have the Elgato 4K installed on my PC. A 3 minute video recording on the PS4 using the Elgato 4K is 5 gigs kek.
Yeah on the ShareFactory they should make improvements on it to help you guys better, personally I don't use it because I got a capture card and editing on my PC so not sure why I would need it lol, but for people who don't own a PC should be helped for Share Factory.
Hmm... ShareFactory is pretty awesome as is. PS4 Pro indeed records in 1080p like DB mentioned. 1080p60fps honestly would be overkill and at that point you'd be moving into capture card territory. 1080p still looks gorgeous on most screens.
Yeah it's best to get a capture card. Not to mention that PS4 (even the pro weirdly) uses a compressed bitrate on recordings because you are playing a game and recording at the same time. It's to prevent any hitches or spike FPS drops so Sony reduced the quality, course the quality is still good on it. Just didn't want you to burn money when you have a PS4 already is all ahaha, all up to you yo.
