Huh. It would make sense for them to let you toggle wall holds. That allows them to maintain their casual appeal while also keeping competitive tournament viability for the serious players of the game.

Not a bad idea, but separating the community online more wouldn't be a good idea me thinks.

i dont think it would be splitting the community, they'd just be going the smash ultimate route and making options for all type of players. this way like Newwest said, casuals can play their game and the competative community can play theirs, literally every1 will be happy. yeah there might be some discussion amoungst players about what rulesets become tournament standard, but that's not a bad conversation to have
