    Honestly? Though I enjoy this game it has become... Toxic. The community is nice! It's just... DLC fanservice at its current level.... I'll just say design politics lmao!! That is all I will say vaguely. Everyone has their reasons I suppose!

    Most people are out for themselves and trying to find the quickest way possible to be famous, even if it means withholding tech rather than sharing it to get ahead... and I don't blame them, since the media LOVES to push the idea that fame is the only way to be happy and get people to actually respond to you.

    but real talk any time i come across a marie rose i try to use a character with a fast tracking kick, like honoka's 7k or rachel's h+k, since it blows up both rondo and minuet, once (or if) the marie rose starts respecting that, it can open up opportunities to use more punches

    Honestly minuet gives me more trouble than anything, it throws marie rose so off axis that it's stupid difficult to punish even if you know they want to do it. I found that waiting for her to land and then mashing your fastest button tends to work like 70% of time, but i have no real answer for point blank minuet spam, and it makes me sad

    Yeah, I heard about the competitiveness. Fortunately, this school's major is quite broad and has quite a bit of programming too. So, hopefully, things will work out.

    Yeah, my friend graduated Full Sail with a 2 year accelerated Bachelor's in Game Programming. He still is currently a QA Tester for Bethesda. Unfortunately the companies don't tend to have jobs available too often.

    Quite cutthroat, but I can only hope for the best. I don't really have an interest doing anything else. I want to give other people the enjoyment I got and still get. If all else fails, I can just be an English teacher.

    A company who doesn't see any profit in a certain action will completely stop it, the Tournaments are still doing well enough for them to continue it.

    Also Even if DOA6 would come out, it would go the same route as DOA5, milking it all over.
    So its best to stay with this game and add new stuff to keep it entertaining.

    The companies don't organize the tournaments, nor do they necessarily need to sponsor it. It's all privately ran.

    My argument is not DoA6 < DoA5.
