    If spectators and fellow players have any sense, you won't get laughed out of the tourney - much less stream chat - if this is your first time attending a major and you lose. So do your best and move on, no pressure. If people still want to get to know you for good reasons despite losing, take the opportunity, it's a gift.

    Before gaming over stream, make sure you play with people there to get used to the environment and offline delays, as well as getting used to the monitors. It's a much different experience. Get as many games as you can over there before the matches happen. Training over the net is not a good way to train imo, it's to only eliminate rust or playing with friends.

    My schedule gonna be so hectic. Idk how I can keep prepping for TFC when I got so many activities to do. Not counting college work.

    Thinking about it, I should've used Sarah and a couple others more with DOA. Would've been a great pocket with the others for if VF comes back. But them being "Too hard" kept me away while in tekken I'm using some hard af characters but they're enjoyable & rewarding. But Rig's hard/advanced enough for me.

    Next DOA I'll look into the harder characters. They're always more fun. And I have a big smile every time I do a hard move.

    "Difficulty" of the characters doesn't matter that much in DOA because it's the game mechanics & conventions that makes the game challenging. As for 'slumps' and losses, they don't matter in casual, non-competitive matches. Basically it's exactly the time to experiment with stuff. I.e. You don't want to experiment in a tournament match.

    Idk why but I feel yellow's in tekken are soft (Not all). Green mashy af & laggy but Yellows after 1 game win/lose never want to run again.

    The yellow ranks I've played always seem to rematch more than when I was in the greens in Ranked. Some even death matched me. I just stick to quick match sometimes. People there are always ready to play long sets of games.

    That's a good thing. And I'm glad that you have a good community with that. I'm saying in regards to player matches and lobbies where I'm on a "serious" lobby and because the game actually was serious win or lose I get booted for it. Now not everyone does this and I salute to those people. But it's annoying when I'm just trying to prep for TFC and I'm getting booted for nonsense.

    I know knee a legend in tekken but there's no way I can see a tourney tier list of Hwo in B tier and Kazumi in S tier. Makes 0 sense.

    I do like the fact that it's practical rather than going by what could potentially happen (Mostly. There are some where it's kinda theoretical to me.). I wish Knee went more with results and current level with the character (how they're maximized) instead of easiness and stuff. I mean he did mostly with the other one (Though I still don't know how Kazumi's S tier in that also).

    But the tourney one's raising good debate. In regards to DOA, I'd probably say it's along the lines of Zakku's tier list. maybe adjust a few things (I won't list them all. For a "Tourney tier list) and it's near on the money. All I'll say is only Christie & Gen would be Best tier if we're going by Knee's version.

    Rachel & Helena would be very high on a "Tourney" List also. Rachel is about as pick up & play as they can get and she can get results very quickly in a competitive setting compared to the rest of the cast. Helena's a lot more difficult to play but she can steamroll opponents with her offensive pressure once she has momentum compared to someone like Ayane, Momiji or Brad for instance.

    But it's all good. i just thank GOD for the opportunity to play a tournament. Went 2-2 and at my L I held my own til the end. I'm pretty happy for myself considering how awful my Hwoarang is. Which means I can win games in tourneys. :)

    All honesty, Idk how people can get star ranks so easily and quickly in DOA, while it's a damn struggle for me to get my regular B back.

    Some people choose to be stuck at LR and still have the desire to compete anyway... mostly because they've evolved past flexing online ranks for validation and let their play do the talking. Trust me, the players who should matter to you will know the difference.

    True. I fought a really good LR Kasumi (they won 3-2 and it was a good match despite the awful lag from Crimson stage and low bars). Must've had the same ranked issue as me.
