Its a matter of the distributor not having a big budget. Tecmo Koei may not have resources to help the Aus market making for a bigger push into retail. Best thing to do is ask for it/preorder.

Good that you got it. There was actually a tournament in Sydney today, promoted on www.Ozhadou.net and on the Tecmo facebook page.

The Melbourne tournament today was good, 12 players, final was streamed

I liked the Helena and Lei matchup. Didn't realise how well I was doing with her until watching it back, shouldn't have changed to Ryu (was only coz I did so well with him last time).

Total choke with the combo at the end of the first match, the ender + wall hit may have finished it. And the third match was so close! Oh well, next time ;) GG

Anyone going to turn up for DOA5U this coming weekend? I don't think Shadowloo has copies of DOA5U so I think one of us would have to provide for them.

I feel like I should say something, cause some of you still get hit by Rachel's stomp even after the nerf to it. The thing is, her stomp has always been techable... but the reason it was screwed up was because even on whiff it still left her at +15 which was stupid cause that was the frame on hit as well.

They nerfed it by delaying the start up making her -15 now on whiff... making the stomp practically useless... unless you're side teching. Rachel's stomp has always been escapable through back tech... so, back tech and I'll be at -15 if I stomp... the only reason I still do is because nobody has seemed to figure it out yet LOL BUT HERE I AM, telling you guys how to get out of it ;P

When are the next casuals planned for? And which states? I noticed South Australia had a casual going there. Good to see.

There's plenty on in Victoria each month at the CouchWarriors Ranking Battle events www.couchwarriors.org
Also often at CCH and if we get interest at Friday MoeMall nights.

In WA, there could be some opportunities to play with the Ozhadou Perth crew, find them on Facebook or www.ozhadou.net forums.

There will be a Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate side tournament at Shadowloo Showdown next Sunday 31st.
10:30am for 11am start.

This will be a free tournament so players who have registered for other tournaments can join in just the same as people who are there just on a spectator pass.

This will be a chance to enjoy a fun tournament with other players, learn some new tricks, and also join in some high level play as Australia's very best DOA5U players in Melbourne's strong scene will be vying for the glory of top spot.
