Let's get ourselves heard, Team Ninja clearly are not paying enough attention to the forums so let's make ourselves heard.

First off, this isn't a suggestion page. Post things to that nature in the thread below.

Below is a list of the Major changes needed to Brad Wong universally agreed by the players on the forum.

Out of all the issues there is one major one we all agree on. We all know that his current handstand entrance gets in the way.

Currently his handstand entrance, 66p+k, causes the following issues:
  • 6p+k is almost completely unusable.
  • 66p+k and 6p+k input confusion issue - 6p+k is almost completely unusable because of the handstand entry input. Prior to DOA5 you could dash in and 6p+k making it a good tool. 6p+k is a good move but now you can't use it at all if touch the forward direction (mainly for spacing purposes) prior.
  • You have to consciously avoid forward movements and p+k inputs. This means you have to avoid the following: forward movement 6p+k, forward dash p+k, in back turn dash forward p+k, in back turn forward movement 6p+k.
  • I am going to mention this a 3rd time because it is affect the most. 6p+k is completely useless unless you're standing still.
  • Understand that because of the points above, players are discouraged from using dexterity in space. Forcing Brad players to not use themselves to their full potential. To reiterate... Brad Wong players are literally punished for attempting to play to their full potential, we're talking they end up being put in a position to receive damage from trying to use their ability in spacing and punishing.
  • Inconsistent with Brad Wong's handstand entrance from attacks.
DHO k+f k2 issue:
  • The second kick is low OH-able.
  • If the second attack, k2, is delayed Brad does not enter LFT.
2k+fk
  • Inconsistent with the similar attacks (pp6k) which allow him to enter LHT afterwards by holding/pressing 2 during the kick.

I can talk to Tom Lee about this at TFC if you want. I"ll post up some things I think he needs as well afterwards. (He needs a lot imo).

Sounds good to me! And ask him to put some DOA3-DOA4 costume DLC for Brad, especially DOA4 C2 everyone gets badass new costumes and we're stuck with Brads ridiculous confounded cowboy outfit. Not to mention no long hair option while Eliot gets a new style.

i'm offended. i always use his cowboy costume, it's his best one. :(

and if they were to use some costumes from 4 for dlc, i'd say leave out costume 2, because his default in 5 is pretty much just a revamp of that costume minus the hat, and include costumes 1 and 3. maybe costume 3 could borrow the hat from his costume 2. oh and don't forget that casual suit he had in dimensions. kind of off topic though.

Haha sorry man, I just enjoy the traditional martial arts gis/and some casual stuff I guess. :p I agree about C2, his DOA5 primary I love and think its his best default yet, its awesome. Brad with a casual suit from DOAD would be cool too!

i can tell you that getting stuck in handstand and the reverse inputs have been fixed. dho :H+K::K::2_: still instantly crouches and can be offensive held, though i rarely ever use that move.

also don't forget the stuff here. mostly the points towards the bottom of the post.

There has been many great suggestions from a lot of players.

@Tones, I would like to double check what Seppu has said but I've extremely busy these days before TFC, can you do it...? We need to have really solid info when talking with TN. If Seppu is right (I bet he is), please edit first update first post...

That adds in the variable of a mid kick counter or his power launcher. Doesn't solve anything

No one uses his PL tho lol... It's kinda bad and useless (not needed imo). Anyways. There's going to be a major patch sometime in October. So tweet TN.

Yeah, with xbox 360 d-pad I get PL many times... And 66~h6p+k is also hard to do in 360 pad and can lead into an accidental hold, I will try it a bit more...

I was trying alternative commands Choosen1 said. I found 66*f~6p+k works well. I mean: 66 (delay for dash executes) f (just press minimun time possible and then almost instantly press) 6p+k.

It seems to opposites DOA tradition of command being easy...

Also I found as long delay after 66 is, easier is to get (dash) rush into 6p+k.

I onther hard I found 336p being really unsuccessful, even in arcade stick.

Defeats the purpose still. Something odd though, 6656p is faster to do than 6656p+k ( the buffering of 66p ends sooner than 66p+k)

66H 6P+K takes way too long to actually come out after a bound, it's useless really. I tweeted TN about it in my blog though, so hopefully they'll change it.
