DOA5LR Character Music Selection

Come to think of It I think I was the one that made this topic back when Ultimate came out, but either way this will be the last casual topic I make before LR drops tomorrow.

I wanted there to be a "random" option for LR that played all the music of your choice at random for every match like in the old DOA games but it appears that there will be character and stage music again which, is a good idea in theory, kinda sucks. Yeah every character gets a unique theme that plays when you face them, but this means in sets vs other players using your main, you're hearing the same 2 songs over and over again.

But I digress, with the addition of some new songs and LR music to spice up the music library, what will you be listening to when fighting characters X and Y?

When this happened in the old DoA games? From what I know the music in every matches it's always been the theme of one of the two opponents.

By the way good idea for a thread, I will try to go with a list later but anyway I tend to change often the themes associated to each character and menu.

In arcade modes and survival/time attack the theme of the character you were facing played. But in versus modes they were randomized. It kept things fresh.

I'm one of those people who absolutely hate the VF Characters, but I do wish they would add their Themes, maybe even "DOA Remix" them, and put it in the game. Most of them have been in for 3 games now, for god's sake!

I wouldn't have trusted Team Ninja to choose the correct themes. Aside from Akira and Pai, I didn't like a lot of the VF5FS themes. The only correct theme for Jacky is his VF1 one. Sarah's VF4Evo theme was gdlk.

Akira's only good themes are from the original VF5 and VF2. All of Jacky's VF themes are good except his VF4 ones. Sarah's VF3, 4, 5 and 5R's themes are on point and Pai's shouldn't be anything other than a remastered VF3 theme.

I don't remember a lot of the VF themes, aside from VF1, VF2, VF4Evo, and VF5FS. VF doesn't have memorable soundtracks like a lot of other 3D fighters.
