DOA5LR Character Music Selection

I don't remember a lot of the VF themes, aside from VF1, VF2, VF4Evo, and VF5FS. VF doesn't have memorable soundtracks like a lot of other 3D fighters.

I think that's true for each individual game, but I feel that each game tends to have at least one or two really good tracks. VF1 - Dural's theme, VF2- Akira's theme, VF3 - Pai and Jacky, VF4 - Aoi's theme, 4EVO - The intro and Lei Fei's theme, and 5 has Akira's alternate theme in FS. I also like Brad's 5R theme.

As for why there aren't character themes for the VF characters in DOA5, my best guess is that Tecmo didn't want to pay Sega for rights to the songs and/or royalties.

Too bad, Akira's VF2 is one of my all time faves too.

In fact I enjoyed VF2's soundtrack as a whole.

I've been looking around and it seems that the DATA files in the PC version are actually the sound files, which includes the music and sound effects and voices. Thing is, they're compressed or combined in a format that I don't know what to do with. I've read these files can be split/converted into ogg files by a tool called kvs2ogg, but I can't get that to work. If someone can, please let me know here.

Some of them are really good. It feels like a new game now.

Song in red are "transition songs" (triggered by danger zones), they're not very interesting.
Polluted Air is the only song I couldn't match with a character, so I guess I will give it to Ms. Monday (lol)

I think most of them fit the characters' personality. I can explain some of them if needed.

Graceful Sounds is far too perfect for Ryu, i think it coveys his personality perfectly, i mostly associate him with Sky City Tokyo, Lost World and Sakura.

I would swap Jacky's with Rig lol, Rig strikes me as the super laid back guy so i think Tedious Days fits him way more, Also i Jacky's should be either Knock Down or Accelerator (he is a car racer after all lol)

Tradition fits Akira way more imo, but Sanctuary is pretty accurate for him.

Its hard seeing Ein with anything other than Vigaku but yeah Fire Alarm is pretty good for him, however i he's more of a Street or Scramble guy.

Finally Lee, Like a Dragon is totally for him, but why home?

I agree with the rest, except for Graceful Sounds. Sakura will always be associated to Kokoro for me. Since E3 2012's trailer. Her story cutscenes. The title of the song even fits her more.

It sucks Helena doesn't have a home stage like in every DOA (Great Opera, Lorelei, DOATEC Great Hall, Freedom Survivor... Depth ?)
