the series has had this infuriating issue since 4 where no matter how hard you beat a character up, they absolutely refuse to STAY THE FUCK DOWN. they would be on the ground shaking their head at ur life fam, and they're still doing it in this game
now look at the series that at least made an attempt,
virtua fighter has brutal throws and a surprising number of KO animations
tekken and modern SF have result screens where the loser REALLY stays the fuck down, and the victor asserts their rightful dominance
despite being a sprite based game, samurai spirits v's finishers are some of the best and most gruesome in the genre (WITHOUT going full cheese like mortal kombat)
6 has been one nonsensical decision after another; it just doesn't seem to know what it wants to be
