DOATEC HK is another stage (or will be part of the story)

Did no one clock the glass shapes?

It's about time they recycled a good stage.

Lol when that was first shown i thought it was a museum! That definitely has to be DOATEC HK with the crosses on the right wall.

The stage transition where you break through a glass ceiling as you're falling was so good, it's a shame it's probably gonna look weird due to that end camera angle they use for EVERY freefall now.

I think DOATEC HK has a lot of stuff going on. 2 main areas, 1 secret area. Yeah, I would welcome it. I do also like DOATEC Germany wich will always be my favorite because of the DOA2 Intro and all the craziness you could do in the DOA2U version but yeah. Hands open for DOATEC HK.

I think it is exactly that and not DOATEC HK. ;) The windows, which actually seem to be large display cases, seem very similar to DOATEC HK, but the layout is completely different. Maybe they just reused some old assets to make this new stage? The light is also not coming through the windows/display cases but from that large glass dome. There was no such dome in the original stage. There's also signage at each of the display cases and I also thought in the display case to the very right there was a large dinosaur skeleton visible.

Satisfying is the right word. Man, DOA2 had some great stages. It was a masterpiece, really.
In my opinion, DOA2U has the most polished and beautiful stages out of every DOA game. Also - I don't understand, why the "wildlife" is not a topic anymore. The bunnies in the forest, the massive amount of gulls at the beach stage in DOA3, all the fish in DOA2U and DOA3 aquarium stages and so on and so on. Well, we had the jungle stage in DOA5 but the animals looked like stuffed (or plastic) figures out of a PS2-theme park. They reeeeeaaaally need to improve that. If the best animals they could do look like that again, better leave them out.

I think, when Itagaki has left Team Ninja (or was kicked out), some of the most skilled staff members did follow him. So many aspects in therms of quality did chance since then. Even though - all the members that worked on DOA5 and now are working on DOA6 should be much better now and I want to see that in the final product of DOA6. I want to feel the passion. Not just for the characters and gameplay. No! Also for the stages. I think that there are already some good examples of "passion", but there is still more space to show "man/woman power".

Add life to the stages! Butterflies, Fireflies, dears, foxes, bunnies, dogs, cats, (all kind of safari animals you can imagine "in a fitting stage") and so on.

Also - more objects that can be affected by the fighting action. I love to crash the opponent into the fruit crates in DOA4's Seaside Market. All the movement by the stuff that falls out.

Play more with "weather effects" like you did in the past. I leave this here like that, because I expressed myself too often about that topic.

Make the stages bigger, with a bigger view like in the past DOA games.

Stage suggestions: Fighting on a moving train, a helicopter could leave you on various areas, when be kicked off.

Details: Add them. It shows love and passion and makes it looking perfect. I enjoy watching the tiny blinking ice crystals in the air, when you slammed someone into the ice stalagmites in DOA2! Just wow! Or the ones in DOA3, that had an insane animation, when getting broken.

However - time and skill changes, the world changes and people change. Some gamers are comfortable with less these days and also, a lot of fighting game producers focus on other things than perfection. Money is more important than ever before. Less production time, more profit.

The big plus I see for DOA6 right now is, that we have less industrial themed stages than in DOA5 at this time. Nature is key. Keep it on Team Ninja!

Exploration in the stages was my main jam. I loved the fact that back in DOA2U you could literally explore the level and see all kinds of crazy stuff. Even in DOA4 they had grab animations near stairs and go to the lower levels and those areas had their own environments and interact-ables. I forgot if it was 3 or 4 but I remember a level by a casino and cars would hit you in fights, but if you timed it right you could counter the car and look badass. And yea, the animals did add life to the stages too. That arctic stage in 5, the penguins were just lifeless pics. But there were some stages I enjoyed in 5 as well. I thought the HOME stage was pretty cool and a few others, but those pale in comparison to the older games. Hopefully, DOA6 will bring some of those old levels back again like 5 did but I want them to be creative going forward and make good new memorable stages. So far, Im confident

I think it's DOATEC HK (i do want it to be) because they take liberties concerning the old stages. Crimson in DOA5 is not exactly the same as it was in DOA2.
And, I prefer to wait till we see it in action before judging if it's really it or a new one. The thing I'm scared about if it's a new one, is the lack of floor levels and as this picture shows it, too dark atmosphere. Almost every stages in DOA6 are super dark, like DOA5, adn I have to say it's something I don't like. I truly miss the old shiny, magical and giant stages.

+, even the textures were better in a game that will appear to be adult next year... ahah

I think a re-use of assets for a backdrop, or even a story-mode area is more likely. I mean there's a picture of a locker room as well. I don't see anybody fighting in a locker room.

Kinda random, but since we're talking about stages here, did they ever explain where this scene in the first trailer took place?

Is aerial gardens returning or is it a new stage?

It's likely aerial gardens but they just haven't shown it yet as a playable stage. That was the case with the lab stage, it was shown early in the Ayane/Marie/Honoka Trailer and Christie's trailer but we haven't seen anyone actually fight in it until Nico's trailer. That's also the case with that Gym stage in Lisa's trailer with Tina and that resort side section of the DOA Coliseum where Helena and Kokoro were talking, I think they're waiting till new reveal trailers or maybe even release to fully show all playable stages

This is one of my favorite stages from the series.
The clock tower from DOA2U would be awesome too. (I think it was a clock)
