By the way, nipple-less Jecht was probably really an oversight. His new character render shows him with nipples:

Will they be subsequently added to the game...? Questions over questions.

Since the game is out in Japan already I am waiting for info regarding its PS4 Pro upgrade. :/ This game needs a higher resolution or some form of anti aliasing. That's the only thing that still looks bad in this game. Fingers crossed!

It is strange that they aren't on his model but maybe they'll add them later?

And I actually didn't realize the game had came out in Japan already. But maybe we will start to get more info on it now in general for stuff they'll be adding to it.

X-XV is I'm guessing what they mean by later era then.

X: I can't think of anyone really... Lulu would be too similar to Edea/Ultimecia, Auron would just be another heavy, Seymour again seems too similar to other characters, Rikku either Tifa 2.0/Zidane 2.0 depending if its X or X-2 Rikku...

XII: I've never played.

XIII: Serah is a good pick since her style is similar to lightning on paper but completely unique in execution she could be a Unique type/Specialist

Type-0: I'd love Seven or Seice but Seven is just lightning with a whip sword(her animations are literally lightning's) and Seice would just be Kaine 2.0 since unlike Aranea she just does basic dragoon stuff

XV: Aranea is the only female that could join... Males though Ardyn while similar to Noct has other stuff too, Gladio and Iggy would be pretty boring play wise. Prompto uses guns so they could maybe fdt him to work as a Marksman.

As for the others, I've got no clue. Aranea or Ardyn could be a possibility for sure.
Wondering if they'll ever add other characters from Tactics and Type-0, it doesn't seem like it, but maybe it's just me.

Since Dissidia is out in Japan already more and more detailed info is available now. The game is unfortunately not for me...or for anyone who does not want to primarily fight online. :/ It's clearly focused on online play, the "story mode" is very modest and not really a story mode in the traditional sense anyway and apart from that the game is single player/offline mode starved. A very unfortunate, recurring trend in current fighters.
It's a shame, I have been looking forward to this game for a while. Well, maybe I get it a bit later when it bombs and drops in price.

And there was never a story mode for NT that was confirmed ages ago

Comparing it with the absolute worst offender, Street Fighter V at launch, doesn't really change that this game still is a disappointment for me and many others as it seems.
I wonder how it is going to review...

I'm just saying, I don't need 5 different modes I'll never play... like DOA5U/LR since Versus and Arcade are literally all I need. I only got bored with Tekken 7 because you can't do a free Vs battle against CPUs literally EVERY other FG does though it makes zero sense.

Wow... Many of these fighting games have become so anti-consumer and shameless.

I didn't buy Tekken 7 for a number of reasons, but I didn't even know they had no simple Vs CPU battle mode in it.

I'm still so unsure of dissidia... I like the look of it but I wouldn't be playing it online really so I'm not sure, I'll have to look at reviews and gameplay once it comes out over here so that I can see what other modes and things there is to do.

Balthier is extremely popular for XII. He's so popular that he should of been in Dissidia before Vaan.

Just realized Yuna's pretty much confirmed. One of the character's hint was actually : female, already appeared in the previous game, late-era FF games.
The last one leaves Tifa out and c'mon.... Prishe doesn't stand a chance against Yuna lol.
Now I'm hyped again, unless it turns out to the gunner version....

#Delete Vaan and bring in Balthier, Fran or pretty much everyone else from XII.

Not scrapped, Tekken has never had a vs CPU mode only arcade/ghost etc.

@Jadeinchains try the game if you're not sure the open beta is out tomorrow(technically today) so give it a try before you buy
