The only nerfs Squall got that are worth noting go way, way back to when the arcade version launched in November 2015. Back then, Squall had a ridiculous BRV damage output, even with non-trigger inputs. Fated Circle and Aerial Circle also used to be faster HP attacks, making him quite the ToD (Touch of Death) character at launch. Naturally, they had to tone that shit down. Beyond that, they only made adjustments to Blasting Zone and the effects his unique EX skill Draw has on different character classes. Up until now, the skill was useless against Vanguards and Marksmen. But aside from that, Squall has been unchanged.
