Helena Guides?

Hello FSD,
i wanted to ask if there are any guides around for Helena?
With guide i mean something like an explanation of basic moves and strings, and what options you have with her stances and so on. I would be happy with anything, text/video etc....
I exclude something like combo lists, top10 moves, frame data and stuff. I don't consider them guides.

DOA5 is around since 2012 and I'm very surprised she has not a single guide, other characters have more than one on FSD...

Yeah theres several characters that don't have beginners guides, some new and some old.
I don't play Helena myself (infact I dropped her because I didn't know how to wield her)..... luckily several people play her at high levels so you should be getting some help soon....

I do agree. A guide for Helena would be great, but something like that takes a lot of work and knowledge. She has some serious tech that the game doesn't teach you. I don't know if I ever could have figured out some certain things about her, if I had not looked into this forum. I don't know what your progress on her is, but this "tech" wouldn't be the first things to approach when you just started learning her.

So I hardly recommend to take a look around here and implement the things you find step by step into your game. To be honest, it isn't that much. Yes the information may look scattered, but it is less than it looks.

I think lists for combos or top moves would build one of the pillars of a guide (if one existed), so I wouldn't exclude them. Maximizing (guaranteed) damage is the easiest thing you can work on that could ease your victory, imo.

Both of the stickies regarding top moves and combos. What's interesting about the top moves - thread is, is that why people think certain moves are good.
