I'll be there again. I'll register either the weekend of Final Round or the week after. Also, I didn't know you were here in TN, P1553D. What part are you from?

Okay since I'm seriously considering attending this event I have some important questions. They will probably be extremely unusual to people as my situation I'm sure is unique.

I have religious observations that prevent me from doing things from the onset of friday at sunset to saturday night at nightfall, some of these things include carrying in the public domain(outside), handling money, or writing. I'm mainly concerned about having to sign things the day of the tourney, or carrying equipment to and from the venue. I also have to bring my own food.

When I was younger I used to go to events for the pokemon tcg, and me and my father would have to book a hotel with a connecting path to the venue, so we didn't have to go outside. We also had friends that signed papers for us.

I guess my questions are thus

1. Is the venue it's own self contained building with no connectors?
2. Are outside food and drink allowed at the venue?
3. Will any sort of writing be required the day of the event?
4. Will any sort of money transactions be required the day of the event?
5. Is equipment such as controllers provided or do you have to bring your own?

Thanks a lot. If I think of anything else I'll add it here.

1. Yes but, what do you mean by "connectors"?
2. This is a good question. You should be fine as I do not see rules against it in the OP. Asking @Vandy personally will give you an accurate answer for this one.
3. No, just have your id with you to get your badge.
4. No and yes, No; if you pre-registered online for everything. Just show your id, get your badge, and keep going. Yes, if you pre-register at the door.
5. Bring your own controller, so you will have to carry at least that. Unless you have a generous friend who will share a controller with you. Still, it is best to have your own controller so you are not holding up the tournament at any point.

I talked to JDE, he cleared up a lot of things. It should be fine. But yeah, might as well ask vandy about the food issue.

When I say connectors I mean like the hotel is directly connected to the venue in some way. I can just have someone carry my stuff if I have to so it shouldn't be an issue.
