Greetings everyone, I've been on a hunt for better look because the game seems a little "foggy" and "pale" in my eyes, I tried many hacks until I found the following to be the best so far.
First here are some screenshots:
sliding comparison images at https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/9634/
Instructions:
1- go to https://sfx.thelazy.net/downloads/
2- download SweetFX 1.5
3- copy to game directory (where the game is installed)
4- unzip (don't overwrite "d3d9.dll" if you already have mod tools installed)
5- go to https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3373/
6- download the preset (.txt) file
7- rename file to "SweetFX_settings"
8- open the game directory and copy the file over (it must show you overwrite confirmation)
9- run game and check to see if it's working
10- if it's not working then copy files from SweetFX\dlls\ to the main game directory, try the fxaa first, if it also doesn't work, try the smaa files.
11- change the brightness to your liking in the games options > screen
12- play the game like a BOSSSS
P.S. @MASTER , @Rojikku , @Rikuto , I don't know if any of you know about this, but I think it'll improve the quality of streams, there is advanced settings that can be altered to increase quality at the cost of GPU power.
EDIT: if you feel the colors aren't bright enough or too bright try one of these (the only others worth loading):
a) https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3509/ (almost same but consumes more gpu)
b) https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3349/ (less color vibrant: easier on the eye)
c) https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3328/ (brighter white tone)
d) https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3315/ (brighter blue tone)
e) https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3389/ (brighter red tone)
f) https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3325/ (even less color vibrant; nearest to origin)
Also, this is a safe operation because you can easily turn it off by adding two slashes "//" before "#include "SweetFX_settings.txt"" in the "SweetFX_preset.txt" file in the game directory
