If battle passes do mean more content, I think I'll be willing to pay for premium passes but only if they have better items going forward, only the white eyes and the crop top and the new profile customizations really impressed me.
For round two after the first round period, I hope they'll bring back high leather heel boots from Tekken 7, and maybe other stuff like halter neck dress and the better hair options like the hime cut twin buns anf maybe character exclusive stuff like Lili's curled hair and their other exclusive costumes like her marching outfit

Why should a shitty battle pass, which is mostly made up of throwaway Tekken 7 accessories, and costs 600 Tekken Coins (you can only buy either 500 or 1000 coins each) mean more content?

I don't really like the way they're going about it but I'm willing to stomach round 1 of the pass and premium if they shift away from T7 stuff and start including fresh stuff. A part of me thinks that they wanted to do the pass as a test to see how many players would buy a premium if they knew better items were included and if alot of the players do go premium, they'll keep it up which I don't mind, they just need better items for round 2.
In the meantime, at least we'll have legacy items too but I didn't like how they made the cyber pack hog a potential slot that a new Lili legacy costume could have taken up

You might wanna blame US for that, as in the US localization team because there was a news article stating that outfits for the ladies in Tekken needed to be toned down because they were showing either "too much cleavage or skirts were too short."

Ik I've gotten shit for implying DOA fans are porn addicts, but I think it's not even the outfits that get me so much as some of the dialogue interactions that surprisingly go unchanged.
Especially Lili, who's basically a slut by definition, and Reina seemingly willing to out-Kazuya Kaz in the campaign expansion(s).
Ik it's cliche to say "It's all about the money.," but I don't think they had a lot put into the costume drops beyond making them vaguely themed, in contrast to DOA 6.

How is everyone doing in their online matches?
So far I'm doing good, I think it's because I'm a Lili main that I can pick up on BS since I know the game being a DOA native player so I'm close to purple(I think) ranks, the players aren't that hard although a Kuma player I thought was bullying me but it was that charged low and high mid string that gave me trouble so I labbed those xD I thought a divine ruler Lili player my last two sets who wasn't as scary as I thought but I was able to 2-1 them although it cost me my rank promotion chance
Hopefully by my next work day I should be in purple ranks, I'm trying to play as much as anxiety will allow since I want to complete my premium battle pass
