Too much effort for pro-bono work.

I'm diggin' that Kokoro layout. I think I might grab that for my next custom stick.

I'll toss up some pics of my stick collection soon.

I swapped out the kuros for some sanwas. Was thinking about getting smoke grey, but I kind of like the blue ones. They match the LED lights.

The hayabusa stick is awesome, and I'm not biased because of the name. I might like it better than my sanwa sticks.

And here is a pic of my collection:

    Quite a collection!

I was curious about the Hori OEM on that controller.

In what ways do you like the stick better than a Sanwa?
What did you think of the original buttons (compared to the Sanwa's)?

The kuros were much better than stock hori buttons, but not as good as Sanwa or Seimitsus. On mine, the green button was sticking out of the box, so I pretty much had to replace it. :/

The stick is just a preference thing. It feels a bit looser than stock sanwa sticks I've got. I don't know technical stuff, just how things feel. Feels like I have to apply less pressure to activate a movement. It took some adjusting, but after playing on it for a few hours it feels really good.

I think this one needs a bit of adjusting ...
her face would be covered with the buttons :S
If you make her face more down and to the left ... it would look alot nicer ... :)

He does the stuff he just posts in here for free, dude. Correct it yourself or do what I did and pay him for custom art.

Those designs are really cool, d3v. I'm a fan of simple, eye-catching art and those definitely fit the bill.

Skilletor- Ya, I also like the feel of the 'cheaper' Sanwa sticks than the 'good' ones (they feel loser).

I can't use it now. Damn you! *clicks dislike button*

Every time I check this thread it makes me wanna get an arcade stick just for the faceplate art style I could put on them. The ones posted by d3v are fucking awesome!

Same here. I have been thinking of putting some art together and keep the stick for show.

So in March of last year I bought myself a Chun Li TE S as a birthday present, right? I figured "I'm finally going to learn to play some other fighting games and I'm going to learn stick at the same time." It didn't work out, something felt off about the stick and I didn't like it. I thought maybe it was the square gate but that didn't change my feelings and the stick just sat around.

A few months later I ended up buying the limited SFxT Pro Stick and I noticed myself liking that more, maybe it was because I was using it for playing DOA++ but something felt "right." Since then, the few times I have played something, I've been using the SFxT stick, the one that felt right. Just recently I've really gotten into VF5FS and I've been using the SFxT stick. I've managed to more or less get some difficult stuff down like Akira's knee and Jean's guard break follow-up but I've still been struggling with diagonals. Hell, I have an easier time pulling off Akira's 1 frame knee launcher than his :3::3::P: launcher.

The Chun stick still has the octo-gate in it so I wanted to try that out just this very moment and I noticed that the entirety of the stick is loose as hell, all of the buttons and the actual stick itself. It feels mushy and off. I can't even get the knee to register on this thing without slamming on the guard button and then it'll register more than a frame. No wonder I couldn't play on this thing.

How the hell did my brand new, stock TE S get so loose out of the box? This put back my learning fighting games for almost a year and I'm kind of disappointed to learn that now. Maybe I could've been at Evo competing for something this year! Not likely, but still, haha. Short of replacing everything in the stick, what can I do to fix this thing?

The Chun Li TE S is sexy though. While I'm not a big fan of Kasumi, she'd make a perfect replacement piece of artwork on the stick and I put something together really quick. Does anyone want the actual PSD? It actually has Kasumi, the various cherry blossoms and background all separate so you can still arrange them as you please.

what would be cool grap3 is if you ordered the plexi from tek etched with Kasumi's hair to add some pop to the hair itself.
