@Gurimmjaw, I would use my analog but its an oldass controller and the analog sticks to every position its put in, even when I clean it :/.

@GeomighT, i do xD actually I only started using it for Akiras 1 frame knee which is also why I set my Hold button to X.

I slow escape using analog stick instead of dpad. Much easier imo. Also I rotate in full circle motion to slow escape than press the guard button. Works great for me.

Ok cool, I'll try out different methods and find which is most effective then.

Full circle motions work too. It's preference, really, I've just always found 1/9 and 3/7 to work well for me.

Suggestion; rotating your thumb between either 3 and 7, or 1 and 9 allows for stagger escaping at fastest.

Ah, I think the trick is pressing and holding down block before hitting the directions. Unless you're using a parry character, I've heard that happens to them too.

ah ok but like every time I slow escape my character will start spamming out holds lol and then I get punished

@Fiend Busa, you gotta hold Hold button. I just set my hold button to X lol.
