I still wish Dimensions kept his swordplay. It got demoted to just a stance with a few moves.
Dimensions Genra was a far more refined version of this. I miss him as a character, even if his sword stance was one of the worst in existence. But he was amazing in Dimensions even with his slightly shallow movepool, mostly thanks to 6T, 6P, and P+K.

Ha ha, looks like the beta dimensions genra.
And in Dimensions that's exactly what they did. This isn't dimensions. He didn't need a massive movelist because half the difficulty was just getting to him through his projectile spam. Remember we're talking about a guy who completely fucked with the camera, had knockback and pushback on everything, couldn't be held and couldn't be thrown. Even knocking the guy down resulted in a projectile shockwave.
He has a total of 17 moves available here and his weapon doesn't even render because its a hack. So of course he seems boring. Render his weapon properly, flesh out his movelist and gain access to his projectiles and suddenly he's not quite so boring.
He looks pretty cool, but honestly his move set is really boring. Opposite of Tengu I guess you could say
I miss those strings...

Figured some of you might be interested in this.

His holds all work like Kasumi's parries, except he teleports in front of his opponent instead of behind them.
