Looks like I'm getting better with Momiji. Cool, I guess. She isn't one of my characters. I only pick her because of all the time, MONEY, and effort I put into modding her.
These are high level casual matches. No one's trying their best. Still, I wonder how much better I'd do against top players after most of the roster is balanced. Bass, Rig, Mila, and Jann lee weren't patched yet. They're still busted-broken.
If they can get on DOA6++ without a second thought, they can try my superior mod that doesn't reward players for braindead and overpowered strategies.

People who've played and said they don't like the changes to the launchers I think just need to adapt to the new way of fighting. People just want to be handed wins for little effort. Too many people think like this. Am I really the only one who wants to actually fight my opponent without a crutch?
As you can clearly see, launching and juggling is still an important part of the combat system. All I did was make it happen less often. I rested my mod from scratch, so the weight classes are back to normal.

I'm hoping to fight someone who masters this new system and pushes me to my limits again so I can feel like I'm fighting for my life.
In a perfect world, my ranked rival, ElectrifiedMann, would unblock me and fight me in this version of the game so I can show him who's really the boss around here. Kokoro's reset throws are busted. Lisa's guard breaks are busted. Helena's mix-ups are busted. It's madness. There's not much skill required in the original game--only cheap spamming. Winning there is MEANINGLESS because it is too easy--it's Chaos!
I want to focus entirely on performing well and strategizing and not be constantly distracted by my stoked anger because of how bad and unfair the gameplay is in the original DOA6.

In response to people who think that adding a new mid fatal stun to every character is a bad idea, I don't see it yet. I feel like I have to go out of my way to do it. It's worse to be able to launch someone every 5 seconds for multiple hits in mid-air rather than one extra hit on the ground where you can defend yourself with the Break Hold.

Gameplay mods in effect:
Currently Modified Characters
-Hitomi, Nyotengu, Momiji

Break System
1. The Sidestep Attack now does 10 damage.

2. The Sidestep Attack causes the opponent to tumble backward instead of far push away.

3. The Break Blow is negative on block (throw punishable).

Danger Zones
Check the DOA6++ patch notes. I borrowed their BASE bin file… because I like it ;)

Fighting System
4. Primary launchers must connect on counter hit or on a fatal stunned opponent to cause a high launch.

5. New mid fatal stun added. Only works on opponents in Critical Stun.
Nyotengu: 9K
Hitomi: 6P+K
Momiji: 6H+K

6. 8P+K ground pound damage drastically increased.

7. Reset throw damage reduced by half.

8. The first strike of the Fatal Rush string no longer causes a fatal stun unless the opponent is sidestepping.

9. Mid wake-up kick damage doubled from 20 to 40.

10. Regular mid holds damage reduced by half.

Closing Statement (my ambition):
Dead or Alive will no longer be the best fighting game because it has fewer faults than the other franchises in the genre. Now it can reach its full potential and finally become the game it always was destined to be: A realistic, cool, accessible, intuitive, competitive, deep, well-thought-out, fun, fair, GOOD video game.
This is the TRUE Evolution of Fighting Entertainment
